Being royal, or part of a royal retinue doesn't mean you get a free pass through puberty. At one stage or another, all our heroes get walked in on while masturbating. Prompto somehow winds up travelling to other Final Fantasy universes. Pretty much everyone he meets agrees he's adorable af and wants to bang him. He might be pretty eager to get home, but hey, it can't hurt to have some fun with the hot guys he meets along the way, right? It's not like he's got a boyfriend waiting for him back home (even though he wishes he does).

Then when he finally gets back to Eos and everyone is relieved to have him back, someone from the chocobros happens to pick up his camera and discovers his latest photos include a *lot* of sexy pics of Prom with different men. Noctis is the incubus prince of the daemons. On his 21st birthday, many different countries send him offerings and gifts to maintain a good relationship and a peaceful future with the one who will soon be king of the daemons. Niflheim sends a virgin sacrifice in the form of one Prompto Argentum. Noctis is surprised and delighted by such an adorable gift and happily shares it with his closest friends and retainers, Ignis and Gladio.

Prompto, on the other hand, was actually sent to assassinate the Prince. Too bad that, because he's an actual virgin kept as pure as possible in order to entice the incubus prince (who'd definitely be able to tell if Prompto wasn't actually a virgin), he's discovering that it's really really hard to focus on a mission to kill someone when they're fucking your brains out in every imaginable way possible.

-Fire's cause can be as serious an attack on the prince or as silly as Noct saw a spider and threw a fireball at it. or maybe he fell asleep with the stove on

Why are her 13-year-old brother and the 10-year-old Prince the only ones looking after 5 year old Iris?? Shouldn't these kids have back up??

Give me the adults around the citadel seeing Gladio running around trying to take care of Iris, and Noct and Gladio getting the blame for her getting hurt or lost, and wondering why Regis and his shield aren't making sure anyone else is looking after their kids.

AU - Long-lost Prince walks into (Prompto's) convenience store

One weekend, 20-year-old Prompto is working the back shift at a convenience store, when the bell on the door chimes. It's almost 4am and he hasn't had a customer in nearly an hour, so he's surprised. It's usually dead between 3 and 5am.

But he's especially surprised to see that it's a young man about his age, barefoot and wrapped up in a blanket, walking through the single aisle in a daze picking up food at random.

What's even more startling, is that P herompto realizes knows who it is. How could he not? Pictures of that same face, just slightly younger, have been posted in every place of business, on every milk carton, and appeared on yearly televised newscasts, since the Prince of Lucis disappeared 5 years ago.

Mine, Noctis says, and bites down on his lip. The blood floods out in a wave of bright copper, the taste so delicious that Noctis catches it all on his tongue.

Noct. Noct! Prompto moans into his mouth between repetitions of Noctis’s name.

He keeps pushing and grabbing and pulling at Noctis’s hair, like he can’t decide whether he wants Noctis with him or away. Noctis decides for him, digging his nails into his shoulders and yanking him close, chest to chest and hip to hip. He bites down hard on Prompto’s neck. More blood. His.

He drags his hands down flesh and muscle and over ribs and splays his fingers over the delicate skin of Prompto’s stomach. He can feel Prompto’s heartbeat, rabbit-quick as it pounds against his fingers, and that’s all for him, he has to have it -

Prompto screams. Noctis kisses him, gently all over his face, hard on his mouth to swallow his pained, panting whines. Noctis has torn through his stomach, his hand is inside Prompto, deep within his chest, touching the red-hot pulsing core of him. He has never been this close to anyone before, never will be again. He digs.

He wraps his hand around Prompto’s heart and he pulls. Prompto screams and it chokes off, so Noctis has to kiss him again, soothing him with bloody fingers in his hair. He pulls Prompto’s heart out, still throbbing in his hand when he lifts it to his mouth. He watches Prompto’s crystal blue eyes, beautiful and terrified, as he sinks his teeth into Prompto’s heart. Prompto’s heart. He tastes like salt and metal; he tastes like the best wine Noctis has ever drunk. He’s going to be Noct’s forever.

Love you, Noctis says, lips bloody against Prompto’s cold mouth. Mine.

But the further they get from Insomnia and the more they come to learn one another, the more Nyx understands about the Prophecy and the Covenants Luna is making.

Show someone caring about Luna's well-being as a person. If Noctis had Ignis denounce the prophecy to keep him safe, then someone should be there to try and save Luna.

I'm not opposed to a bittersweet ending.

One of Noctis's big hangups is he's got plenty of emotions but he's terrible at expressing himself until it's basically too late. And Ignis, it's implied at a whole bunch of times he likes to hide his real feelings behind his job. So even if they've been in love with each other since forever, and everyone who knows them well enough can see it, it's a real bitch of a time to actually get either one of them to admit it out loud and to each other.

Lucian royal inheritance lies with the ability to use the Ring and the Crystal to keep any the Astrals deem "unworthy" from inheriting the throne.

In order to defeat Ardyn and the Scourge, Noctis must use up the entire power of the Rong and the Crystal, destroying them in the process and forfeiting his title as king.

Luna, however, gets her power and title directly from the gods themselves and retains them after the Dawn. As Queen and Oracle, she is supposed to marry someone of proper station, not a fallen ex-king with no magic and hardly a penny to his name.
