Any time one of the bros (or anyone else, really) is carsick, hungover, or simply has stomach flu, Ignis seems to mysteriously be called away to do something else, only returning once the vomiting episode is over. He's just as attentive as ever at helping the stricken one clean up and feel better, but they're curious why he always seems to leave so suddenly.
Cut to the boat ride to Altissia. One of the bros either had too much to drink the night before, or their delicious local seafood was a bit off, and between that and the choppy seas they're sticking close to the rail. The others notice Ignis seems curiously restless and uneasy, and seems to be taking pains to stay as far away from the sickee as possible. Eventually they realize what's up and decide to help cure him of his emetophobia the old-fashioned way---exposure therapy!
