But I want the Final Fantasy XV characters as Paladin piolets set in Eos with Nifleheim taking on the role of the Galra Empire. Gladio-Black Paladin, Noctis-Red Paladin, Prompto-Blue Paladin, Ignis-Yellow Paladin, Cindy/Iris-Green Paladin, Luna-Princess Allura, and whoever you think fits-Coran. Doesn't have to follow either cannon. Just giant mechs in Final Fantasy. :D

As far as Noct's concerned, Ignis belongs to him. He hates it when Ignis pays too much attention to other people and makes sure Ignis knows it. Don't mind if he's deliberately abusive or unintentionally just a really awful boyfriend, so long as it's definitely an unhealthy relationship.

Ignis has spent his whole life dedicated to Noct, being told that Noct is everything. Maybe he knows it's unhealthy but he's in too deep to just leave. After all, besides his job he has nothing, and he isn't sure Noct won't fire him if they break up.

Whether Ignis leaves (later Promnis or Gladnis would be adored, especially if they persuade Ignis to leave) or decides to stay with Noct, up to a!a.

Ardyn + Regis, AU Annoying little brother Ardyn

So I love Uncle Ardyn, but they're always about his relationship with Noctis and not Regis. I see someone's take on what growing up with this trashlord as brother would be like.

-Smol Ardyn dragging his big bro into so much trouble.
-Epic princely prank wars.
-Ardyn being so jealous it causes it rift between them when he finds out Regis hets to be King and he doesn't. It not until after their father dies and he begins to understand that the throne is responsibility and not a right and sees the toll it's taling on his brother that they make up.
-Ardyn sleeping with all of Regis's friends. And hus Glaives. And the Crownsgaurd. All of them.
-Regis refusing to see in public with his brother while he wearing that.

For a pretty classic team of bad guys, Niflheim doesn't really seem to have anyone doing the classic femme fatale bit, do they? Sure, Aranea dresses the part, but it's not really her style attitude-wise.

Fortunately, a certain chancellor is exactly the kind of shameless, manipulative, pretty-looking thing this role needs.

So, think of every "sexy seductive villainess" trope you can come up with and then write Ardyn pulling it off.

Gladio/Any + Gladio & Iris, Gladio gets stereotyped

Someone sees this six ft six wall of muscle, covered in tattoos and scars, standing around in front of a high school school just before a teenage girl runs up and hugs him. They, not knowing he's just picking up his sister, immediately have an issue with this, thinking he's some thug who's taking advantage of a young girl. It causes a whole slew of issues when they confront him and call the police and it's only when Gladio's proven to be Iris' older brother (and on top of that, an Amicitia which sends the police in a tizzy thinking they'll be in trouble with the crownsguard) that he's let go and the person begrudgingly apologizes. Gladio tries to shrug it off but it starts to stew in his head for a bit and he realizes he's actually pretty upset that he can't even go outside without being profiled and vilified. Any comforts him after the fact and reminds him that he doesn't have to change who he is or how he looks just because some people are assholes.

+++ Iris is the one who makes the person apologize

Ravus/Any End of Oracles

When Tenebrae burns, Luna dies but Regis manages to save Ravus. Ravus is left as the only person with Oracle blood to keep the darkness at bay. But, since he was never trained in the art of his line, he’s making it up as he goes.

I’m not picking with pairings, but Ravus/Gladio sounds kind of interesting.

Ignis/Noctis, AU Noctis saves Ignis from a suicide attempt

In a world where Ignis isn't chosen to,be the King's advisor at a young age, Ignis grows up restless and bored. School is laughably easy and he never feels like he earns the grades he's praised for since he only goes through the motions of studying but in truth is he's known most of the material on the circullum since kindergarten and is badicly sleepwalking through class - sometimes lietrally since he can barely sleep since his mind doesn't have enough to focus on so it makes things up to worry about in the dark. His parents discourage him from cooking, the one thing he's passionate about, because they think it's beneath him and he should find something more befitting of him intellectual "gifts." He's never been able to make friends or connect with anyone in meaningful way. He just one thing, anything, in his life to mean something to him and he's at the point where he doesn't seem like it's ever going to happen so he decides to end it all by jumping.

...and he promptly gets saved by a magic teleporting prince. It'sthe start of a beautiful relationship.

Because I'm re-playing the game, and took note of Gentiana's line (when telling Noct to seek the next lightning tree): "The fearful seek to seal the path of what must come."

What if - *handwaves* - the Empire weren't the badguys?

What if Ardyn - and by extension, the Empire - wasn't out to destroy the line of Lucis, but rather they want to save it from the gods' influence? What if they know the gods' intentions are rotten and the crystal is their tool, and all they want to do is end the unnecessary sacrificing of this family and this poor boy unlucky enough to be dubbed The King of Kings?

Noct, of course, doesn't believe them.

Ignis/Noctis Others don’t get it

Ignis and Noctis aren’t co-dependent, obsessed, or unhealthy. They’re two boys who grew up together and cared deeply for one another. They are willing to risk their lives because they are so close—they genuinely care about one another and theirnwell being.

However, some people in the former Crownsguard/Kingsglaive think that their relationship is inappropriate and not proper for a king. Have newly crowned King Noctis and his ever faithful advisor set the record straight.

I prefer Ep Ignis alternate ending timeline, thank you!

Bonus points if the other bros help set the record straight with everyone.

I wanted to switch up all the Prompto getting kidnapped prompts and switch Prompto out for Ignis

Being the advisor to the prince, Ignis knows quite literally everything there is to know about the royal family and anything pertaining to them. So shit hits the fan when one day Ignis doesn't show up for work and it's revealed he's been kidnapped.

+When they find Ignis, he's a mess- clothes ripped, hair messed up, everyone assumes he got raped while with the kidnappers (he didn't, the kidnappers just wanted to mess with him)

++I adore Gladnis so if the author wants to go the Gladnis route with this, I like established relationship. No moony eyed "omg i think i love you now that this awful thing has happened" but more like when rescued, Ignis just is reassuring Gladio and vice versa like that he's okay and they're okay and ugly crying etc.

As a slightly older teen responsible for the Prince’s welfare, Ignis is well aware of the rumors. He’s not oblivious to the crude jokes people insinuate regarding their relationship. Ignis is the obvious target of the two, and suffers harassment (or teasing, inappropriate questions, RPF, overtures from creeps, etc...). As the boys have grown older, the rumors and harassment have escalated as well.

Ignis tries to protect Noctis by keeping this a secret. It blows up in his face when Noctis finds out from someone at school.
