Now that Noct is outside of Insomnia, Ardyn starts stalking him in the night, hoping to catch him outside of the safety of a town or haeven.
Maybe he even approaches a haeven to talk to the guys and try to lure Noct out. (Please make it really spooky if so)

Ravus told Ignis what happens when a non-royal puts on the ring. That did not stop Ignis. So afterward (whichever rout you pick is fine, but I prefer the canon rout) he tells Ignis off for being so stupid and risking his life and losing his sight that way for a sorry excuse for a King who isn't worth the trouble. Ignis calmly and coldly defends his actions. Bonus points if Noct is still in his stasis coma but Gladio and Propmto overhear the conversation and that's how they find out.

Date: 2017-12-20 03:01 pm (UTC)So those protests against Regis in Kingsglaive. Say there were protests and riots even when Noctis and Ignis were young. And there ends up being a rebellion when they're still kids. Regis, along with all the council members and nobility, are killed (mostly made possible by the traitors in the Kingsglaive that helped facilitate this) and Ignis, thinking quick, manages to take Noctis and run. Unfortunately, they have to leave without Gladio who wasn't anywhere near them at the time, and have to hope he's okay. But if he isn't, they can't call him just in case the wrong person picks up his phone and finds out where they are.
They manage to make a bit of a living for a while off of Ignis' family money since they can't go back to the citadel for any of Noct's. But soon Niflheim takes over with no king and wall to protect Lucis and Insomnian money is made worthless. If they want to keep making a living, they have to be creative. Prostitution wasn't their first choice. They tried a few different things (making a small restaurant, doing chores for others) but it only lasts them a few years until they start to get desperate. Eventually they're propositioned into using their bodies for gil, and well...they're homeless, wearing rags, and barely have enough to eat each day. They accept the offer.
Would like to make it clear that they don't start prostituting as children. They can be however old as long as it's over sixteen.
Also Ignis/Noctis doesn't have to be a pairing (I would like it to be but it's not necessary if it's a dnw for some). But since they come in a package they're often asked to put on shows for their client regardless of their relationship.
Feel free to put some focus on how this affects Iggy and Noct emotionally (on top of the turmoil of losing the kingdom).
