It may sound strange, but this anon is a complete sap for the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty. One of the biggest things drawing me into this game was all the Versus XIII promotional art of Noct sleeping on the throne.

I'd like newborn Noctis getting cursed to die (maybe by Ardyn?) at age X, with Regis being all protective and sending his baby away before he's capable of coherent speech just to keep him alive. I'm not fussed about who kisses him awake, pick whoever you feel is best! I don't care if fairies are involved or if you keep the lore closer to what exists in-universe.

Who knows, maybe those two don't really like each other but respects each other's position.
