OMG. Yes, a new installment! ;A; <3 Thank you so much for this update, you have no idea how much this has brightened my day, ahhhh *dances* And no worries, Author!anon, as I said, I understand. ;w; I'm so glad you liked the prompt enough to tackle it, because you're doing a very splendid job! Also, if you were curious at all, I got inspiration for the prompt from a movie scene in '22 Jump Street' - the boss's daughter scene. There actually used to be a FFXV version of it (just that Prompto was Schmidt, Gladio was Channing Tatum, and Regis was Ice Cube haha), but I can no longer find it orz. BUT ENOUGH ABOUT THAT, LET ME GUSH ABOUT THIS BEAUTIFUL UPDATE.

Okay, first of all, Nyx is a great guy. I mean, we all knew that, but seriously, he is such a good guy giving Noct the heads-up. But that's at the end here, and if we rewind back to the beginning... HNNNG, THIS DREAM. The dream was unexpected, but extremely sexy. Like, hot damn. Love that he's fantasizing about Noct like that. You've got me wondering if he's gonna try to keep his hands to himself on his first night on the job and if he'll to continue to have dreams as a result, or if he's just gonna go for it! =q= Hoping Nyx'll score that dinner in a few hours, because somebody really needs to throw this guy a bone, at the very least.

And then, we've got this lovely scene with Nyx and Drautos and Clarus. Once again, I just adore the way you describe things. Nyx examining the books, his inner comments about various things (like how Noctis has lovely shoulders lol); it's all wonderfully written. Now, considering Drautos' role in the movie, I'm a little bit suspicious of him and what he could possibly be capable of here, but I won't dwell on it because, again, I don't want to accidentally ruin the story by brainstorming too much. ;;;;

Mostly I just want to fawn over everything! Especially Clarus here with the “...Noctis doesn’t particularly get along with any of the Crownsguard, and we’re going to need somebody with him day and night.” His lips twist as he continues wryly, “Particularly at night,” like WHAT IS THIS WHAT IS THIS WHAT DOES THIS MEAN WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO INSINUATE HERE CLARUS?!?! I just am looking extremely forward to Nyx getting to know Noct better. I'm wondering if Regis was/is uber-protective/possibly strict like "I'll call in the damn army and navy and air force AND the nat'l guard if you're not home 30 minutes before curfew" kind of smothering over his son. And if it's, like, had a sort of impact on Noctis and thus encourages him to possibly rebel/sneak out/act out. Err, just, what I'm really saying is that I want to know your Noctis about as much as Nyx does! ;w;

Lastly, I'm glad you're having fun with the prompt, because I'm sure having fun reading what you come up with! xD As always, please take care, Author!anon! Know that I am exceedingly excited for Nyx's first night on the job! I'm very eager to know if they'll bone dine together or not. *spazzes out more but wishes you all the best*

Authornon here: OMG IVE NEVER SEEN 22JS BUT I JUST LOOKED UP THAT SCRNE AND ITS HILARIOUS??? I'm. Trying to imagine Nyx bragging to Regis and just c a n n o t fhjshfjsksjhd.

Nyx's thirst is so real. Just like my thirst is so real lololol. But he's a gentleman!! He will treat Noct right. (Whether Noct wants to be treated right, on the other hand...)

Ah yes, Drautos. Idk what to say about Drautos? You will see haha. Also I want like 20k more of Clarus in there but he's not actually that relevant so I just... stick him in where I can. lol. HE WASN'T TRYING TO IMPLY ANYTHING except like. Noctis is a bit of a cocky shit so he could get in trouble at night if there's nobody around, and he doesn't like the Crownsguard so he dodges them sometimes. Although... I guess... now that Nyx is there he COULD be implying something...

Regis probably was super overprotective when Noct was younger! But now Noct is old enough that's it's not such an issue. And he's got Ignis and Gladio and Prompto, who will show up... sometime.
