I've added/clarified some rules to make life easier to my pinners. Please refrain from changing the subject lines except when filling or updating a fill. It makes it easier for us to keep track of what we've already looked at. Thank you so much!

- Negative comments on other people's prompts (kink-shaming, pairing-bashing etc.) and personal attacks of any kind will not be tolerated.
- One prompt per comment. Warnings for common triggers and squicks are encouraged, but not required.

Ardyn/Noctis, fake relationship

Noct hated going out, because there was always that one person who'd recognize him and wouldn't let up until he'd signed their bra, or answered for whatever law his father had just signed into legislation, or whatever else they'd come up with get in his face about for an hour, but he'd promised Prompto he'd at least make an appearance tonight as it'd been a month since the guys had seen him outside the palace, c'mon Noct. It just figured that he'd run into the one guy who was too drunk to even recognize him and still wouldn't take no for an answer. Noct seriously considered just punching the guy in the face and enduring Ignis' disappointed sighs as the tabloids printed articles titled "The Prince's Anger Management Problem" for the next month. Again.
He was just about to say "fuck this" and leave before anything drastic happened when an arm slung itself over his shoulder. "My dear Noct, where have you been hiding yourself?"
Noct twitched. Violently. He'd forgotten that Ardyn Izunia was in town discussing border control issues with the Council. The guy was a serious creep who'd probably been perving on Noct since he was a kid, but he was providing the only graceful way to get out of the current situation without causing a scene, so Noct rolled with it.
"You're late," he said, glaring up at Ardyn. Why the fuck was everyone in the world taller than him? Emperor Aldercapt was taller than him, and he was a billion years old.
"My most sincere apologies," Ardyn said, in the same tone of voice he used when claiming that those soldiers had been on the Niff side of the border, and thus outside the jurisdiction of Lucis, in council sessions with his father. "Let me make it up to you, dearest."
And that was how Noct found himself getting kissed within an inch of his life while cameraphones flashed around him and there was the distant sound of glass breaking as if someone had dropped their mug on the floor. He hoped Prompto was happy, because Noct was never ever leaving the palace again.

The papers the next morning all read something on a variation of: "Prince of Lucis having affair with High Chancellor of Niflheim??"
Noct screamed and set the offending article on fire, following it up with a blizzard spell when the whole table went up in flames. He should've just punched the guy in the face.

Date: 2016-12-27 04:41 pm (UTC)But yeah, I wasn't planning on more as this is super cracky and kind of OOC, buuuut I do have some ideas of where it could go. Mostly, I was just thinking of an AU where things were a bit more low-stress and no one is at war etc. etc. and Noctis' celebrity status as prince is more like royalty in our day and age esp since he's so pretty?? So he's a bit brattier and more hotheaded bc of that, is my excuse.
If I were to continue this, it would probably be something along the lines of Regis lecturing him on blah blah blah you're the prince, be more responsible, and not even letting Noct explain himself, bc this is just the next thing in a long line of things un-becoming to a prince that Noct has done and Noct get super pissed and looks up where Ardyn is staying and is like DON'T BE A CREEP THIS IS YOUR ONE CHANCE TO HIT THIS bc if he's going to get yelled at for it, he might as well actually do the deed. and they bang. Except hatesex with Ardyn is actually...really good. And it becomes a thing. Like Noct never means for it to happen?? But Ardyn is always around somewhere (doesn't he have an Empire to advise??), and suggesting ludicrous things like banging in semi-public places where they could totally get caught, or skipping council meetings to go for a drive (and then banging in the car), and it's all made even better by the fact that the whole thing really pisses his dad off and...yes. *hides in a corner*

Date: 2016-12-28 08:59 pm (UTC)I was thinking about it some more and realized it'd probably end in them getting married or something. Because Regis can't take it anymore and tells Noct to grow up and find himself a wife because he's bringing shame to their whole family line carrying on like this, and Noct is like FUCK YOU I'LL MARRY ARDYN THEN. And then storms out of the audience chamber to where everyone is waiting outside because Regis delayed a council meeting for this. And Noct is like, "hey we're getting married" to Ardyn who totally nonplussed answers something like, "aww, are you finally making an honest man of me," and Noct is like as if.
And maybe Noct was actually planning to call it off bc it's not like he actually wants to get married to Ardyn or even thought about wtf was coming out of his mouth??? But then basically everyone in the entire world takes him aside and tells him what a bad decision he's making and how he's going to regret it for the rest of his life and Noct needs to marry Ardyn now just to prove them all wrong.

Also I love how your Noct is all 'fightme!' and brash and bratty ^_^

I figure that in a world where things aren't so dire all the time, Noct's brattier side would come out more. And like, you can see in the game too he really hates being condescended to, and he can be a real jerk when push comes to shove, which I love about him and totally picked all the asshole dialogue options in Altissia. *coughs* (Of course this only hurt me because Leviathan got like a x2 bonus hahaha whoops.) I was also thinking of the whole royalty thing as more like what England has now? Where it's mostly a democracy but in this the royals would at least have a seat on the council/parliament w/e. So there's not so much pressure on Noct being the ruler and he's free to do silly things that get him landed on all the gossip rags etc.etc.
Me tooooo. Gah, maybe I will write this seriously after all! I've been writing a lot of rather dark things, something more light-hearted might be good for my mental health. xD
