idk I was just replaying the game and listened to that radio exposé about Noct, about how he did volunteer work and also had a part-time job and also how he was top in his class and was dedicated to his 'princely duties'... and I'd just love to read a kind of slice-of-life thing where he does really well under pressure (set when he's 17-18, in senior year of highschool).

Like, he has a paper to write for one class and a test he has to study for another that he aces. There's also volunteer work (at maybe an animal shelter), and also afterschool shifts at the fast food place he works at. And then meetings he has to sit in on at the Citadel. And then training with Gladio, which is enjoys and is very good at.

Just... Noct having a full schedule but handling it just fine, because he's a hard-worker.

+ Bonus points for no mention of him being 'lazy.' He can sleep in or goof around with Prompto on his day off.

!! I knew about his part time job but can someone please direct me to where I can find the info about Noct being top of his class/volunteering? How has this lore escaped me

OP - It's a little exposé piece you hear on the radio at the first Crow's Nest Diner you go to in the game. There's also a little blurb where Regis gives a speech about the treaty and how the lands of Leide, Duscae and Cleigne will be officially handed over to the Empire.

Ohh thanks both of you! I can't believe I never thought to look up a list before, considering I live for all the little details in this game. That broadcast is amazing. And here I thought I couldn't love Noct more than I already did, bless him.

OP - Forgot to add: bonus points of mentioning that Prompto also has a pretty full schedule (with school work and working out and part-time jobs and his photography hobby), so he doesn't have the time of day to mope about not being attached at the hip to Noctis.
