UPDATE 3/2/2017: Per the Rules thread: Do not hijack prompts. If someone posts a prompt for one pairing, don't comment to say "I want to see this for [other kink]" - post your own prompt for the other kink). To that end, if you are unclear on a prompter's kinks/DNWs, please feel free to ask about them. If you ask about kinks/DNWs or to clarify a prompt, you are in no way obligated to fill it.

Additionally: Do not repost prompts from the previous round in their entirety. By this we mean copying and pasting prompts without any changes. If you see a similar prompt to a prior prompt, that is not a repost. Obviously prompts that are reposted per the above rule do not count either. (After all, they will be similar but not the same.)

OP - Oooooh man. I made a silly little virginity kink prompt and in return I got poetry. Fucking poetry, holy fuck! <3 Like??? This was so beautiful to read? And now I don’t know what to do with my emotions? *pterodactyl screech* !!!

I’m being hella sappy, but this was so fucking beautiful, author anon. So beautiful. A pleasure (har har) to read. I just… how do I word? What do? The expectant/heavy atmosphere (so reminiscent of that final camp scene in the game), constantly returning to the crackling fire to underscore the weight of the required sacrifice… and then all the wonderful phrasing throughout, such as:

- he’s hungry, and if he could eat the elephant in the room and be done with both the pangs in his gut and this stifling silence, he would, but one will have to suffice.

- noctis is still coming to terms with the idea that virginity is a social construct in all respects except the one which cloisters them in a magicked temple and that he’s the lucky bastard who holds the key to unlocking the door.

- the campfire flickers, surges and shrinks, uncertain. noctis frowns and feels much the same,

- noctis might laugh if this bump in the road didn’t mean an extension of the debate, already sick of the logistics and of how they pass him back and forth like the whole debacle is justice monsters five and he’s the pinball. there’s a bad pun about scoring there, somewhere.

- half-grinning, prompto says, “way to take one for the team, ignis.” and only realizes afterwards, when noctis reaches for one of his snubbed roots and chucks it at prompto’s blond head, how poorly he’d phrased it.

- he’s met again with the hazy feeling that this is all too surreal, dreamlike and nightmarish, but an absolute exhaustion sedates him, keeps him calm. noctis sighs something that almost ripples in his chest, something that falls short of a laugh, peculiar.

- the rock seems to thrum under his touch and noctis understands this transfer of energy, at least. another dilapidated edifice to spelunk, another reminder that he's always, in some way, chosen. (<— my fav line)

- noctis doesn't think much at all right now, head full of static and fuzzy with formless anticipation

- “you’re the adviser.” you have the experience, noctis doesn't say

- it shames noctis to admit that he's understood ignis through little else besides lessons, schedules, and the seemingly one-sided give, give, give of their years spent familiar with each other.

- noctis feels the shells of his ears burn as one of ignis’s hands alights on the inside of his thigh, warmth of his palm threading through the thick fabric there. instinctively, noctis’s knees twitch for each other, an inch shrinking between them

And the whole sex scene was amazing. I just love Noct’s moment (ha, only a moment?) of panic comparing the size of his hand against Ignis’. The embarrassment of being aroused and being seen to be aroused by Ignis. How Noct feels like the whole thing is unfair to Ignis and beneath him (and not in his job description, haha). Noctis comparing Ignis’ style of jerking him off to his writing style, omg. The realization that this could’ve been quick and dirty but Ignis is going out of his way to make it good for Noctis. The decision that Noctis not be the one who is penetrated. This line: they share a temperature and that seems more personal than the undulations of their slotted bodies, though noctis isn't even sure that he'd want something more visceral or ardent. Just…. !!!!

Basically THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR FILLING MY PROMPT!!! I’m of course happy it was filled at all, but I wasn’t expecting something so lovely. <3
