UPDATE 3/2/2017: Per the Rules thread: Do not hijack prompts. If someone posts a prompt for one pairing, don't comment to say "I want to see this for [other kink]" - post your own prompt for the other kink). To that end, if you are unclear on a prompter's kinks/DNWs, please feel free to ask about them. If you ask about kinks/DNWs or to clarify a prompt, you are in no way obligated to fill it.
Additionally: Do not repost prompts from the previous round in their entirety. By this we mean copying and pasting prompts without any changes. If you see a similar prompt to a prior prompt, that is not a repost. Obviously prompts that are reposted per the above rule do not count either. (After all, they will be similar but not the same.)

OT4 or Gen - A/B/O, beta pov

++the omega/s regularly stealing the beta's clothes/belongings to nest with
+++getting to deal with everyone's mood swings and/or needs for affection when there's a heat/rut coming up (if suppressants are involved maybe they still experience emotional symptoms and/or milder physical symptoms)

Admittedly, Ignis’ skills tend to lay within the domain of alphas—growing up beside Noctis and Gladiolus had seen to that—so he’s a bit out of his element when Prompto’s heat hits for the first time. He doesn’t even notice it himself, but it nearly triggers a rut in both Noct and Gladio, and that’s what he picks up on.
They’d been bickering especially hard that morning, and Ignis is familiar enough with how the two of them get with a rut looming over their heads. That, and Noctis hadn’t eaten much of breakfast despite it being a meal he enjoyed, and Noct only ever turned away food due to A) vegetables, or B) hormones. Given that their ruts, while usually fairly in sync, weren’t due for another two or three weeks, there had to have been another factor. Thus, Prompto.
Ignis can catch only the faintest of scents on any of them—can hardly pick up on it on Gladio let alone himself, given how concerned the man is with covering Ignis in it—so of course he doesn’t notice the change in Prompto’s. There’s no change in appetite, unlike Noctis, or behavior, unlike Gladio, so there’s nothing to see there either. Still, Ignis worries, a bit guilty for not picking up on it until Prompto’s dizzy from a light heat-fever and suppressants that are surely second-rate, certainly not the same standard as those used by the particularly wealthy of Insomnia. Too many physical symptoms Ignis has never seen while working in the palace.
Prompto’s always been particularly clingy, but by the second day of his heat it’s near-impossible to pry him away from the closest human. Ignis makes sure he’s fed and drinks plenty of water, but otherwise leaves Prompto to Gladio or (usually) Noct, knowing that most omegas naturally prefer the touch of alphas in times like these. Prompto spends the next three days curled up in a small pile of soft jackets and softer blankets with Noctis or Gladiolus, face often pressed against their skin. It’s sweet, Ignis thinks one evening, to see him in the care of the two alphas, both displaying so much concern for him.
Gladio joins him that night, radiating warmth. He leans in, nuzzles along Ignis’ jaw. Ignis’ lips quirk upwards.
“Ah,” he says, “your possessive streak’s kicking in again, then.”
“You almost sound like you missed it,” Gladio says, under his breath so only Ignis can hear. He’s said the I like you smelling like me enough times for Ignis to know without hearing it.
“I appreciate you and Noct keeping your tempers in check while poor Prompto is suffering.”
Gladiolus huffs a laugh. “Kid’ll be okay. Once the heat really hit he helped calm that shit down anyway, can’t really take credit for that. Makes me feel like I’m becoming a big softy.”
“Becoming?” Ignis inquires, amused.
Gladio scoffs at him, more or less ignoring the lighthearted jest. He stands, stretches. “Y’know,” he starts. “ 'M sure the kid would appreciate having you around for the last day or so, too.” And then he leaves Ignis to himself, invitation hanging in the air. As a beta, Ignis doesn’t necessarily understand, but he may not have to, not really.
“Perhaps,” he promises.

I love the mention of the difference in suppressant quality between the social classes, and just the general concept of Ignis understandably lacking experience with the situation. and Gladio telling Ignis that Prom would want him around too đź‘Śđź‘Ś
