...go an epic, shenanigan filled roadtrip to find the rest of Ardyn's body that was chopped up and buried in several different locations because someone wanted to kill Ardyn but the whole immortal thing got the way and this was the best substitute they could think up.

The Astrals' prophecy meant something else: By giving up his life, Noctis must form a soul bond of some kind with Ardyn and take him far away. This means that he cannot help his kingdom rebuild ir be with his friends and the ending still happens as it does, just that Noctis survives ans he jas to spend the rest of an eternity with Ardyn. Ardyn's not having it, Noctis is just sad. They are both bitter. Over time they come to love each other.

Bonus for Noctis using loopholes to interact with his people in small ways but never quite being able to reach out (or if you want a bittersweet meetup I'm down for that too)

As someone who is autistic, I see a bit of myself in Noctis. Considering the resources he has Noctis must have had more help creating social scripts and coping with the little things that build up.

I just want to see Noctis' life growing up and how thibgs are for him outside of Insomnia. His nannies being unable to differentiate betweeb tantrums and burnout as a child, Noctis struggling to connect with other people because Social Cues Are Frustrating And Dumb, how being autistic factors into his role as Prince--maybe the media is cruel about it.

Gen or any pairing, nsfw or not, I just want the focus to be on how Noctis interacts with the world.

First meeting AU where Ignis is stuck in a situation that has him frazzled enough to resort to jumping out a window off the balcony of the Citadel

+The room somehow caught fire, which spread around the Citadel, causing everyone to evacuate but Ignis got stuck after helping get Noctis and Regis out. The only way he can think of is jumping out the window but honestly he's terrified

Ignis is one of Niflheim's best spies. He's infiltrated the Royal family of Lucis, bamboozled the King himself, and now sets his eyes on the prize.

Only trouble? Well, Prince Noctis is kind and unknowingly charming, and there's something about him that Ignis can't quite put his finger on. But his feelings on Niflheim are changing, and selling out the kingdom of Lucis is a lot harder when you're in love with their Prince.

Extra points if it really is love. Even better if it ends with a happy ending for Noctis and Ignis. But really? Just give me Ignis manipulating everyone and fucking everything senseless.

So Lost Soul Aside is an upcoming game made by one dude, and it's inspired by FFXV, anf the main character looks similar to Noctis.

I'd like to see Kazer (the main character in Lost Soul Aside) being revealed as a long lost brother to Noctis. Like the bros didn't know about him except in old texts found in the Citadel, and there's even a portrait of him in the Citadel after Regis believed Kazer to be dead

+Kazer has a stone dragon companion that just spins around him, which I think is cool, so the bros are probs gonna be curious about it and ask all kinds of questions (say it's an Astral thought to be only myth and Ignis is just like 'wtf Noctis your brother is powerful enough to have an Astral as a companion do you know how dangerous that is"

++His fighting style is very sinilar to Noctis as well, although the stone dragon in the gameplay trailer is shown to morph into all sorts of weapons and turn into wings so Kazer can fly

+++Regis running up to Kazer, wrapping him in the tightest hug and not wanting to let go because finally his eldest son is home again

++++Cor is buddies with Kazer, maybe a bit more, and Noctis is like "i know we're bros and all but don't get mushy witj your boyfriend in public please ew" and teasingly pulls Kazer's ponytail like all little brothers would

I've seen a bunch of fics and prompts about Ignis and Gladio not really liking or respecting Prom before the road trip for various reasons. So like, I'd like that, but instead of him being meek and easily cowed by them, he's surprisingly stubborn? Like, he didn't put all that work in to be a friend to Noct just to let these two bully him away. So yeah, Ignis and Gladio may be kind of terrifying but Prompto's got a goal here and he has noticed how much lighter Noct seems lately, so he's not going to back down or let them shame him for being there for Noctis however the Prince needs him.

+For if he digs his feet in even more when Noct asks him to become a Crownsguard.
++If Ignis and Gladio naturally warm up to Prom but it takes a annoyingly long time
+++If Prom still has his self-worth issues, but this is something he's doing for Noct so he pushes through them.
++++++If at any point, Prompto gets as snarky with Gladio as he is in game and/or point blank tells Ignis "I'm not stupid, so stop talking to me like I am."

ok but this is both intriguing and hilarious because... I just imagined Ardyn's head talking (do they keep it in a jar? otherwise prevent his neck from drying out??)and being supper annoyed by the whole experience, less because pain and more because 'goddamn this it will take forever to get the sand and dirt out of some places...'

Plus I mean, that kinda seems the only reason anyone would help him get his body back (because while not permanent, choppin' him up and scattering the pieces around Eos does seem like a good way to slow him down with a few hundred years or so... )

Ardyn wouldn't just talk - he'd sing. Loudly. At stupidAM because he doesn't need sleep and is very bored.

Also the Emperor could order them to look for the rest of Ardyn b/c he wants his right hand man back in one piece.
