I've seen a bunch of fics and prompts about Ignis and Gladio not really liking or respecting Prom before the road trip for various reasons. So like, I'd like that, but instead of him being meek and easily cowed by them, he's surprisingly stubborn? Like, he didn't put all that work in to be a friend to Noct just to let these two bully him away. So yeah, Ignis and Gladio may be kind of terrifying but Prompto's got a goal here and he has noticed how much lighter Noct seems lately, so he's not going to back down or let them shame him for being there for Noctis however the Prince needs him.
