Gen, Any/Any, or OT4 "Hospital AU"

Either medical hospital or psychiatric hospital and they're all in their young teens. None of the four had met before but they all end up at the same hospital either sharing rooms or across the hall. Being around the same age and unable to go outside the four bond with one another and make their stays tolerable. Sneaking into each other's rooms at night to tell stories and hang out, wheelchair races, becoming the darlings of the staff.

+if med hospital, one is terminally ill but doesn't tell the others but his hanging with them is all the more meaningful.
+if psych one of the bros has been in there multiple times before and takes the other three under his wing.

So. I have muse for this, but not much time recently. I plan on filling, but it might be slow. Is that all right? Also I want to warn you up-front that a few of the scenes I envisioned have the boys using ableist slurs to refer to one another and themselves ('crazy', 'nut-house', things like that) but that can be reworked if it's too upsetting.

OP here, sorry didn't check sooner but that is quite all right with me. I was hospitalized before and used terms like that for myseld=f as a sort of lightening the experience sorta thing.
