Noct and Gladio are in a secret relationship. They try to be discreet, but they get caught by someone (a concerned member of the Kingsglaive? An ambitious paparazzi? Maybe someone walks in on them in a compromising position?), and now Gladio is in BIG trouble - lots of misinformation and/or assumptions about who might have been "taking advantage" or whom, or maybe it was against the law, whatever - and Noct basically has to have the "Hey dad, surprise! I'm involved with someone/having sex/into guys/dating someone I shouldn't be behind everyone's back. Also, can you please make it so my boyfriend doesn't go to jail, pretty please?" discussion all at once.
