Ignis occasionally enjoys a couple of cigarettes with his coffee. It's not a secret-secret, but he always does it alone, because it's not becoming for an advisor who's meant to be in control at all times to have such a vice. But he must admit, there's something comforting about having cravings occasionally tug at him, reminding him that not everything is under his strict control.
Cue Prompto spotting one of these moments from the other side of the campsite/wherever, and being totally curious and more than a bit into how hot Ignis looks. The way he exhales, how relaxed he seems, how inviting the whole situation is...
Happy to read about Prompto being a weird voyeur like myself, but super ultimate bonus points would be awarded for Prompto going to chill with Ignis, and being gradually pulled into sharing cigarettes on occasion. Totally here for however smutty or non-smutty you want to make that. And here's where I go to hell - you own my ass if you give Prompto cravings that creep up on him every now and again, which Ignis finds it hot/cute to encourage.
