idk, I was thinking some mutual pining thing? Basically, Ignis being Noct's chaperone whenever Noct goes on a date ("date" - more like courting with the intent of seeing whether someone is compatible for an arranged marriage). Basically, it's Ignis' job to stand around and be as unobtrusive as possible while simultaneously making sure nothing.... aham, untoward happens (such as anything more than a side hug, etc).
But then the road trip happens and oops, turns out Iggy forgot to watch himself? (idk)
