Regis has warned Noctis for years over the care he must take with his magic. Ignis has stressed how he must be wary of pushing the boundaries of his abilities. Gladio has reminded him time and time again to not rely so heavily on his magic, it only lasts so long. Of course, Noctis never listens to anyone, and because of that he must face the consequences of his actions. When he goes into Stasis in the middle of battle, he learns just why everyone kept telling him to be careful.
