OP here! The first best thing about this is the timeline deviation. I love how Regis is trying to delay the inevitable. I love how without the chaos of a fallen king and wall that preparations are being made. I was always super indignant about how little thought seemed to have been put into how humanity was supposed to survive 10 years of unceasing darkness.
Ardyn continuing his relations with Regis while picking up the relationship with Noct is both awkward and perfectly within his character as shown here. It's the kind of unique situation that probably only works because the people involved are clinging on to lives that come with an ominous countdown.
The power of the covenants making Noct horny is hilarious, and Noct's ideas of dirty talk pretty face-palm worthy. omg Ardyn's influence on his social skills is very apparent. Gonna think aloud about how to kill you while we're in the middle of sex. Nothing amiss here. No, sir. lmao
Also! The interactions between Ardyn and the Astrals are great! The scene with Gentiana earlier was heartbreaking. And the combative/flirtatious interaction with Leviathan is entertaining as hell. Now! Noct's life is in danger, and Luna lives through the covenants? Can't wait to seee~!
