Gladio is held down and gang-raped after he is separated from the rest of the group (doesn't matter who gang rapes him, as long as it's several men, but no chocobros). He manages to make it back to the group although he is visibly beat up. The other bros think he's just been in a tough battle and think nothing of it. However, at nighttime in their tent, he breaks down and cries. He tries to keep quiet, but Ignis wakes up and finds the unbelievably fierce shield sobbing lick a child while rocking back and forth. Ignis immediately starts to comfort him, holds him in his arms, whispers sweet things to him while also begging to know what's wrong. Gladio finally breaks down and tells him. Ignis vows to help him through his trauma. Somewhere through all this pain, they fall in love.
