The bros are in a string quartet. Noctis plays cello because it lets him play sitting down, Gladio biola because it's the size of a violin to him, and Ignis and Prompto both play violin and that's where their similarities ends. Ignis is firmally trained at an exclusive conservatory. Prompto is self taught and moonlights in folk-punk band. Ignis is always impecably dressed. No one's ever seen Prompto in sleeves. Ignis is impeccably polite. Prompto calls everyone "dude."
