Regis adopts Ignis so he and Noctis are brothers now but Ignis knows siblings shouldn't feel this way about each other and gulityly suppresses it.

Noctis meanwhile has zero clue all this is going on Iggy's head and is just happy to have a sibling to play with and annoy.
