In Chapter 1 you fight this dude named Caligo, and he's an ugly dude, kinda uptight and snobby but when he called Ignis a wretch I was like hoo boy here come the ideas
+Gladio and Prompto fight Caligo alongside Ravus, as they somehow caught up to him, and see him using all this magic- lightining daggers, flame daggers, ice daggers- to fight and Gladio is a little hard but now is not the time boner let's go help fight this dude
++Ravus recognizes Prompto as the MT Ardyn keeps creeping on, and he knows Caligo has orders to bring him back to Niflheim, so Ravus gets protective of Prompto during the fight and makes sure Caligo doesn't get to him
+++Caligo decides since he has an audience, he'll loudly declare what he'll do to Ignis once he has him in captivity (threats of violence, saying he'll fuck him, keep him as a trophy chained to his bed or something) and Ignis is protesting severly
++++Caligo manages to separate Ignis, cornering him amd feels him up as Ignis is still trying to fight
+++++Everyone else in the area had been defeated, so it takes a few minutes for the three to find where Caligo is and kill him, and Gladio is furious when he sees that creep trying to manhandle Ignis
++++++Gladio being a loving and protective boyfriend after the fight
