OP here, tbh I kinda lean towards the latter (aka bad end Noct) but it's really up to you if you're thinking about filling this! I just really like the idea of Noct truly believing he's doing what's best for his people, but being totally misguided about it and unwilling to compromise (the gods chose him! the gods can't be wrong!) -- realistically I think the bros would want to pull him back from the brink but I also feel like they're horribly loyal...
