-Bros literally running in the opposite direction the moment they see Ardyn.
-Ardyn coming up with increasingly ridiculous excuses to delay the attack on Titan until Noctis is there.

Ignis/Noctis - "Cut Sleeve"

Ignis might be a stickler for keeping everyone's clothes clean and proper, but it's been a long day and Noctis really needs his rest. So rather than pull his arm away and risk waking Noctis up after he's cuddled up against his arm he decides to cut the edge of his sleeve so he doesn't have to wake Noctis up. Besides he can just sew it back together afterward.
Gladnis, one-sided Ignoct - Jealous Noctis
Date: 2018-02-01 09:52 am (UTC)Ignis cares very deeply about Noctis, but it's as a much-beloved little brother. He is in a happy and committed relationship with Gladio and - as Clarus, his uncle and Regis all approve - they don't need to hide it. Although they never act anything less than professional when at work, when they're off duty they frequently indulge in PDAs such as hand-holding, chaste kisses and cuddling. They are wholly unaware of how Noctis feels.
Noctis, who is helplessly in love with Ignis, struggles to deal with his jealousy and tangle of emotions.
+ Prompto is an awesome friend and helps him deal with it.
++ He inadvertently overheard Gladnis being intimate and guiltily gets off to the sounds Ignis makes. Afterwards, he feels even worse about himself.

Gen; cliched argument and regret trope
Date: 2018-02-01 10:40 am (UTC)After Noctis throws ignores and then throws a tizzy at Ignis in Brotherhood, Ignis leaves to drive home. On his way, he's hit by another care and takes, amongst other injuries, a fairly seriously head wound and is pulled from the car unconscious.
Recovery is initially touch and go and, as he sits at his bedside, Noctis frets that potentially the last time he ever spoke to the guy whose been there for him every day since he was four, all he did was yell at him.
Happy ending of course!

Date: 2018-02-01 12:19 pm (UTC)All this crystal talk makes me think of the big one in Atlantis. So I propose an AU where Promto is the adorkable archaeologist that finds the location of Atlantis and Noctis is the curious Atlantean prince.
Idk where Iggy and Gladio would fit into this, but I'd prefer that they're not villains or anything.
Pls let it have a good ol' Disney happy ending!
