+1 I've been headcanoning the bros knew Prompto was from Niflheim long before he told them for forever.

Sort of inspired by the 'Gladio injures Noct during training' prompt because it's a little insane that Ignis and Gladio were acting as caretakers when they were 12 and 13 years old. Not only was that presumably not what Noctis needed after a traumatic injury, it's really not fair on Ignis and Gladio either; they were just kids themselves and that's a shedload of responsibility .

Ignis keeps up a regular correspondence with his parents while at the Citadel. They are initially pleased and proud of how well he's doing but when they realise that he's switched from being the prince's playmate and confidante to essentially acting as a substitute parent in his early teens, they announce that they are considering removing their son from his place there.

How do Regis & co, Noctis and Ignis himself react?

Just imagine Noct's face at seeing something he didn't expect to turn him on but damn is it turning him on. Wide-eyed, cheeks flushed, lips parted just a little, growing bulge in his pants? Kink discovery Noctis is my favorite thing and this fandom needs more!!

Any kink is fine *except* ageplay (incl daddy kink) or pregnancy-related. Other bro(s) can also be discovering a new kink, as long as it's a first time kink for Noct.

"Prompto, back up an cover me!" Ignis shouted over the banging and clashing of the battle. A dropship of Imperial troops had just made their routine cactar hunt a bit more complicated. While Noctis and Gladio finished off the cactars, Ignis and Prompto were working to draw the MTs attention.

"Sure thing, Iggy!"

Ignis saw out of the corner of his eye how Prompto cartwheeled away, then slid on his knees UP the side of a bolder good gods how was that even possible does that boy even PHYSICS, all the while firing perfectly aimed shots at the axmen marching toward Ignis. Reckless, Ignis thought. Why was he dating someone like that, again? Oh, right. He loved him.

Ignis lunged with his lance at an axman, easily piercing the week point in its armor. Before it had completely disintegrated into a cloud of black smoke, Ignis was in the air, using his lance to launch himself upward. He spun mid air and landed with the grace of a courel behind two more enemies, who happened to be perfectly aligned for a single thrust of Ignis lance to skewer them both. Not the new recipe he had hoped to come up with that day, but it worked.

Behind him he heard a shot and the ping of a bullet against armor. He spun around just in time for another shot from Prompto's gun to take out the imperial that had been dangerously close to him with ax raised. The armor and weapons catered to the ground in a put of black.

It was only then that he looked up and saw that Prompto was nowhere close to where he had been only moments ago. In fact he was on the other side of the battlefield, closer to Noctis and Gladio than to Ignis. How in the blue blazes did he get over there? Ignis did not think it hypocritical of himself, who had literally just polevolted over two enemy soldiers, to call Promptos manner of leaping to and fro during combat reckless. Lances and daggers, Ignis' preferred weapons, were designed for agility combat; guns were not. That boy needed to learn how to pick a vantage point and stay there.

Of course, had Prompto done that just now, Ignis may very well have ended the day with a severed spine, so there was that at least.

At about that time, Noctis and Gladio finished off their cactars and together the four of them made quick work of the remaining MTs. When the last enemy fell by a warp strike to the face from Noctis, Prompto cheated his victory tune before the blue flashes of weapons returning to the arsenal had even faded. Ignis smiled. If Prompto was ever afraid, which he had confused that he most defiantly was, he rarely showed it unless there were bug involved. He hated to think of where the party would be on morale had Prompto not accompanied them.

“It'll be dark in a few hours,” Gladio observed looking at the sky. “we should head back to town and get this hunt turned in.”

“Then get ourselves turned in for the night,” Noctis added. “I’m beat.”

“Yeah, me too,” Prompto agreed. But the spring in the blonds step and the way he practically bounced around the group suggested otherwise. Or perhaps Prompto was just trying to keep himself active, lest he succumb to the exhaustion they all felt.

“Perhaps we should renew our rent for our chocobos tomorrow,” Ignis suggested. “It's certainly a much more efficient way than walking to cover more ground.” It would also make Prompto beam with excitement, which always warmed Ignis’ heart.

“YEAH, CHOCOBOS!” Prompto cheered. “I want to ride my chocobo all day…” he sang and skipped lime a school girl. But the rocky ground did not lend itself well to the young gunners shenanigans, so he caught his foot on a pointed stone and stumbled forward. It would have been a nasty fall if Noctis had not caught him.

“Careful, Prompto,” Noctis cautioned.
Ignis sighed. “One of these days I’m going to tie you up to keep you still and cover your mouth to keep you quiet,” he teased.
Prompto smirked. “Yeah, but that would only work if I didn’t like that,” he said with a wink.

The others stopped and looked at Prompto quizically. Realizing what he had just said, Prompto laughed nervously and averted his eyes. His cheeks turned pink and he shifted awkwardly.

“Maybe a bit of TMI, hu kiddo?” Gladio teased and nudged his shoulder. “Iggy seams intrigued, though.”

Ignis, with an eyebrow raised and a small smile teasing at his lips, realized that he probably DID look as intrigued as he was and quickly trained his face to appear impressive.

“That’s quite enough of that now. Gladio was right, we should hurry back to town before dusk and collect on our hunt. I suggest a hotel for the night.”

Gladio smiled mischievously. “Any particular reason why?”

Ignis did not reply, so the four made their way back to the Regalia. For the rest if the hike, Prompto was silent and kept pace with the group, walking like a sane human being.

Before continuing with the smut, is OP cool with gagging and mild (like, really mild) breath play? If not, I can easily do without either bc that's not everyone's cup of ebony.

This was great! :D I had to laugh though since it made me think of how the Prompto in my game can never stay out of the middle of a battle.

My Prompto is kinda all over the place. Like I was right next to him and then he was just gone. Like WTF! It took me a minute to realize he was rolling umderneeth the damn garulas! Then he spun around Gladio and was far enough away I thought it was safe to throw down some lightning bc Ignis was behind me and Gladio can take it. Nope. He ran right at the damn thundaga when i thought hewas on tbe other side of Gladio and I had to waste a Phoenix Down an his ass.

AU where Ardyn is Noct's harmlessly eccentric uncle who get stuck babysitting him and his friends and all sorts of cute fluffy shenanigans ensue.

XD He must have been drawn to the shiny light. I usually just leave his ass dead if I end up using more then two phoenix downs on him, Ignis too.

Noctis, Ignis and Gladio work as a covert ops team for Insomnia, they're latest mission is to extract one Versteal Besthia Jr, son of Nifleheim's chief weapons researcher, and aide/arm candy for the Niflheim Chancellor. VB Junior has offered to turn over information about a lot of Niflheim weapons in exchange for sanctuary and a new identity. The team doesn't know what info VB jr has, but it's obviously important enough to send the MI team in.

When the team gets back to Lucis VB jr is renamed Prompto Argentum.

And he will deny it till his dying day. Pre-Altisha with no endgame angst please.

I see this a lot with the bros post-game, but I kinda wanna see this with Clarus and Regis. How about when they die, Clarus finds himself 25 years old again standing around at a haven in Leide. There's camping equipment and personal belongings and even the Regalia sitting on the side of the road. No responsibilities, no duties, no war, no...anything. At least anything bad. And as flimsy as time is in such a place, it doesn't feel like very long before he gets to see Regis again either. They decide to enjoy a road trip across Lucis again without a war hanging over them this time.

Bonus: Clarus comforts Regis over having dealt the final blow to Noctis and reminds him that he can always go see him at the citadel.

Fandom thinks he's oblivious and has trouble expressing his feelings, eh?

Noct gets some kind of status effect that causes him to answer honestly. Maybe it even compels him to answer (like he feels sick or a pressure in his head if he doesn't answer).

And all of his self-doubts and self-blame come tumbling out.

When he's young, Ignis was encouraged by his tutors to take up hobbies as they didn't want him only ever focussed on working.

He's a cultured kid and naturally he sees the practical benefit of all the muscle training involved, so Ignis asks if he can try ballet. Not only does he enjoy it, he soon finds he's actually really good at it! He keeps it secret though, as he already gets teased for his accent, formality and glasses and he's sure everyone will laugh at him.

As they grow up, Noctis, Gladio and eventually Prompto too come up with a series of increasingly outlandish theories about where Ignis goes on his one afternoon off - he's a secret agent, he's a stripper etc - until they eventually throw respect for his privacy to the wind and follow him.

They were NOT expecting him to go into the Lucian Royal Ballet!

Give Ignis all the xeno dick. Anything is good so long as it's traumatic for poor Iggy.

After the dawn returns, the bros set out to rebuild Insomnia. Peolpe are coming back into the city, so there are at least a few people around when it happens. Prompto is walking the ruined streets assessing the damage and everywhere he goes just brings back memories HARD. He's been doing a good job holding it together and staying strong, but seeing the arcade where he and Noctis hung out barely standing but recognizable, his old neighborhood completely leveled, the jogging trail overgrown with dead bushes, the school or what's left of it, nothing but the framework left of Noct's apartment building...it's all to much. He just breaks down and collapses in the street bawling. Shatter my heart.
