(A!A) YES, that is my headcanon too. Noctis is a prince, he knows he's likely going to have to marry for political gain. And besides, if he just dated anybody then their families would probably expect royal favors of some sort and that would cause all sorts of problems.

Anyway I'm glad you're enjoying it! I also realized that update had no smut haha, never fear, there will be smut in the ending.
