OP readily and wholeheartedly accepts, although I would prefer that Prompto be in a relationship with one, and the other be more of a casual participant.

Poor, poor Noct. Everything he understood about their group dynamic just went out the window.

You can't expect me to believe that neither Ignis or Gladio didn't have "when did he become so hot" moment about Noct. Seconded!

I just saw this fill and it's so lovely! Cor's guilt and angst is terrific, and I like that you included his thoughts on Prompto being trained to follow orders. And I felt so bad for poor Prompto always getting rejected. I'm so glad that they both ended up happy at the end.

Ignis is magically stuck as a female until they can gather the requisite ingredients for a specific curative, which makes camping a little awkward.

Around the campfire when they're all a little tipsy, Gladio makes a joke about it being a good thing he knows how to please a woman, when Noctis suddenly asks - how do you please a woman? His wedding night with Luna is fast approaching and he's desperate to know how to make it good for her. Prompto, still crushing hard on Cindy, also wants to know.

Gladio suggests to Ignis that they show them and, between a combination of lowered inhibitions and genuinely wanting to help Noctis, Ignis agrees. Gladio proceeds to give the boys a play by play on how to pleasure a woman; fingering Ignis then going down on him.

No one quite expected Noctis to say: "Ignis, can I try?"

Ignis consents and shy virgins Noct and Prompto take turns in making him come. The evening ends in a OT4 romp.

Ignis regained consciousness slowly, sounds gradually strengthening from a mild blur into sharper discernibility. He wondered briefly if he was dead – but when his left eye fluttered open to inky blackness – he decided, as tears of despair stung at his useless eyes, it could not be so. Surely the Astrals would not be so cruel as to deny him his vision in the afterlife!

Evidently, he was still alive, despite his best intentions to render himself less so.

Assessing his situation, he realised with a wave of panic that he had no idea where he was. He was definitely lying in a bed; he could feel the sheets under his hands and the warm weight of a duvet tucked around him. It was not the bed of his rooms in the Citadel though; the mattress was slightly softer than his own. And anyway, Noct had ordered him away from the Citadel…

He also suddenly became aware that there was a gentle hand carding through his hair, at the side of the bed he was facing away from. The hand wasn’t quite big enough to Gladio’s, though the fingers were strong and calloused.

There was only one other person with hands like that would care enough to sit by his bed.

“Cor?” he croaked. Astrals, his throat was dry.

The hand immediately left his hair and travelled down to hold his hand. “You’re all right Ignis,” Cor’s voice assured him softly. “You’re safe. You’re in my rooms. Here, take a drink of water.”

“I’m back at the Citadel?!” Ignis went rigid with panic, making no move to take the bottle of water Cor was pressing into his hand. “Cor, I can’t be here! Noctis…”

“Noctis is aware you’re here,” Cor said placatingly, speaking in the same voice he’d used when Ignis had been a frightened child newly arrived at the Citadel. “And he’s made no objection. He also knows the only way you’ll be leaving these rooms before you’re well is over my dead body! Nothing’s going to happen to you, I promise. Come on, take a sip for me, there’s a good lad.”

Shaking, Ignis raised the bottle to his lips and took a small sip to relieve the dryness in his mouth. His memories seemed so tangled and vague. He thought he remembered Cor holding him, before. “I…you found me?” he said – half statement and half question.

“I did,” Cor said, his tone still soft, though it was tight with anguish. He was holding Ignis’s hand again. “Only just in time. Gods, Ignis, I thought I’d lost you!”

“I…I’m sorry you had to see it,” Ignis said, his own voice growing thick with tears. “I wanted to be away from the city so I wouldn’t distress anyone. I wanted to say goodbye to you, I promise…but my phone... I just couldn’t face anything anymore, Cor. Noct ordered me to leave and Gladio broke up with me and I just…I had nothing left!” Sobs began to burst out of him.

“Hey…sssh, sssh,” Cor’s able hands maneuvered Ignis gently into a sitting position and then drew him into a warm, secure embrace. “I’ve got you, Iggy. I’m not going anywhere.”

Ignis melted into the embrace as, having opened the dam, a flood of grief poured out of him. So used to having been the one to stay strong, to be the one providing the comfort, the relief of having someone else hold him and be strong for him was profound. Ignis cried in a way he’d never permitted himself to since the day they left Insomnia at the start of their trip. He cried for Regis and Clarus, who had stood straight-backed to face certain death, taking strength from the knowledge that their children were safely out of the city. He cried for his uncle who, though they were not especially close, had always been kind to him. He cried for Lady Luna who’d shown such remarkable courage and sacrificed her life to help Noctis on his quest, and for Ravus who had been so twisted by bitterness and hate. He cried for Noctis and Gladio, who had lost their fathers and struggled to make meaning of a world without them. He cried for Prompto who’d had to confront the horror of his heritage in the most brutal manner.

And lastly, when he’d exhausted his tears for the others, he cried for himself; the terror and pain he’d felt when Ardyn had burned his sight away, the despair of knowing he’d never look at Gladio’s face again, the dread of becoming useless and burdensome, and that final, awful desolation at knowing, despite giving everything he’d had to give and sparing nothing for himself, he was no longer wanted.

Through it all, Cor held him, rubbing his back and pressing gentle kisses to his hair. Ignis’s body shook from the force of his sobs, his chest hurt and his head throbbed but Cor’s strong arms never faltered in their warm embrace. He knotted his fingers in the older man’s shirt, remembering the many times he’d run to Cor for comfort when he was a lonely child struggling in adult’s world, trying to make sense of a destiny that seemed too big for him. Cor had never once turned him away. He didn’t really remember having a father, but he was sure this was what it must feel like.

He sobbed and sobbed until he had no tears left and he merely sat slumped against Cor’s shoulder, shoulders jerking with shuddering, uneven breaths and utterly exhausted. For the first time in his adult life, he felt uncertain, small, unsure. His destiny was no longer set in stone and he no longer knew his place in the world.

“Cor...,” he croaked, voice hoarse with crying. “What am I going to do now?”

Oh. Oh, wow. Yes, please.

I'm sorry, my question was badly formulated! I actually meant the relationship between Cor and Ardyn?

I'm so in love with this prompt, it has so much potential! I really hope someone will write it (and if no one does I'll probably do it myself when I get the time)

So Ignis, Gladio, and Prompto are pretty obvious 'Brains, Brawn, Heart' analogies, but what about an actual Wizard of Oz AU? Carbuncle can be Toto.

Platonc bickering co-parenting. Cor also has a bit caretaker role with Ardyn cus again, severe mental illness makes self care difficult. Also commiserated PTSD-buddies because Cor may not an immortal tortured victim but he's still seen some shit.

Also, Ardyn being a troll because that's how he shows he cares.

(Also I am huge fan of Ar-AceCor but that's not necessary)

Also forget to mention that Cor is super-protective of Ardyn and kicks the ass of anyone who hurts him or talks about him behind his back.

Arrdyn like to return the favor by spreadinf malicious gossip about anyone who hurts Cor.

idk what all the exact terms are, but I picture Noct as being ace but not fully sex repulsed, as in he'd be willing to have sex with a partner because he loves them (but it's not something he'd actively look for, for himself. And he could go the rest of his life without having sex and he'd be completely fine).

And Prompto is pan with a really high sex drive and would basically fuck anyone if they gave him a chance (Obviously not now that he's in a committed relationship with Noct. Just that he finds a lot of people very hot and could very easily picture himself having sex with them)

Just... I'd like to see something happy about how these two people with seemingly incompatible orientations would make it work.

Ignis gets into a relationship with either Gladio or Prompto and, as he is unable to bear the thought of hiding anything from Noct, they tell him about it soon afterwards.

Noct isn't all that supportive and just makes a few sarcastic comments. They are a little hurt.

However, Noct's sulky unsupportiveness isn't out of bigotry or any real maliciousness. He's just a little selfishly put out - he's been used to being the centre of Ignis's works for his entire life and of being a major focus of Gladio's/Prompto's. He's not keen on having to share their attention.

The remaining bro - whichever one isn't with Ignis - has to tell him a couple of gentle home truths and remind him that Ignis is a real person who deserves happiness, as is Bro 2. Surely Noct doesn't want his friends alone forever?

Prompto has learned a lot about Noctis over the years of sharing the same schools and low-key stalking him. He hadn't meant to, but a lifetime of low self-esteem and social awkwardness is hard to overcome, and low-key stalking is just easier. Which is why it takes until high school before Prompto finally dredges up enough confidence to approach the object of his obsessions.

He has the perfect excuse. A dedicated investigation of Noctis's afterschool activities - when he doesn't go straight back to the Citadel - in middle school had revealed that Noctis buys a lot of art supplies for someone who isn't known for doing any art whatsoever. A lot of art supplies for drawing comics. More investigation revealed that Noctis also buys a well-known monthly serialising comic anthology as it comes out - an anthology marketed to teenage girls. In comparison, it was almost laughably easy to look at the list of authors and realise who 'Stella Culleascium' really is.

After he got over the shock of finding out the Crown Prince of Lucis draws a comic called 'Let's Fall in Love' for an audience of teenage girls, and got over the crying jags from reading the most emotionally moving story he had ever experienced in his life, Prompto is finally ready to meet. And, if he can, get an autograph to commemorate bawling his eyes out over a comic book.

He has been practicing for this for forever, has thought up every possible contingency plan, nothing can go wrong.

"Can I have your autograph??" Prompto screws his eyes shut, not wanting to see the expression on Noctis's face.

There is a long silence, and then, "Fine."

Prompto takes the autograph board with shaking fingers, watching Noctis slouch away before finally looking down.

Contrary to his expectations, the board does not have Stella's big loopy calligraphy that ends in a five point star, but jagged, bold letters that spell out 'Noctis Lucis Caelum'. A sinking feeling in Prompto's gut tells him that something has gone very wrong.
