The important rules in short:

• Negative comments on other people's prompts (kink-shaming, pairing-bashing etc.) and personal attacks of any kind will not be tolerated.

• One prompt per comment. Warnings for common triggers and squicks are encouraged, but not required.

UPDATE 3/2/2017: Per the Rules thread: Do not hijack prompts. If someone posts a prompt for one pairing, don't comment to say "I want to see this for [other kink]" - post your own prompt for the other kink). To that end, if you are unclear on a prompter's kinks/DNWs, please feel free to ask about them. If you ask about kinks/DNWs or to clarify a prompt, you are in no way obligated to fill it.

Additionally: Do not repost prompts from the previous round in their entirety. By this we mean copying and pasting prompts without any changes. If you see a similar prompt to a prior prompt, that is not a repost. Obviously prompts that are reposted per the above rule do not count either. (After all, they will be similar but not the same.)

I totally understand. I have two multi part fills in the works plus I'm moving so I get time constraints. So many prompts, so little time.

As far as DNWS, given that the point of this prompt is for it to be an unimaginably horrible situation, I'll say go wild with whatever you want. All I ask is that everyone's their canon gender, there's no hidden magical way to save the last party member, he's just dead. Any shipping is up to you as well. It doesn't even have to be Noctis shipped with anyone. Like, the two downed bros could be Gladio and Prompto who are in a relationship and would hate Noctis for saving them and not the other, for example. Anything goes.

Okay, so you want snuff fic, basically? I'm not the original replier, but I just want to make sure I have this very clear in case myself/others are interested.

I'm not anyone involved in this discussion, but what 'snuff fic' suggests to me is a fic where the main focus is on the character actually dying, as opposed to on the agony of Noctis having to choose (I thought the prompter wanted the latter, but I might be wrong!). So all snuff fics would involve death, but not all fics involving death would be snuff fics.

I want to clarify where they want the focus. This wasn't a judging comment, just a clarification comment. I don't want to write something that isn't what the OP wanted.

Mhmm this kinda got a bit out of hand.
This might sound weird but I mostly meant how graphic did you want the detail for it?
I've taken on some prompts and well had some... interesting comments.

Moving on from that...
The anon who asked whether they meant snuff, I agree with the checking part.
The perspective bit though it usually means to.
As in to snuff a candle, killing it's flame.
There are other meanings to it but that's getting off subject.

I'm not sure where the "they didn't want a character to die?" part came from.
That would be fluff not snuff.
Which is the opposite of the request.

Well the only way to know is to wait for the anon requester to return.

I don't know if snuff is the right term sense snuff focuses on the violence if the death and I would like it to focus more on the choice Noctis has to make and the effects it has on him and the other survivors. But death fic, yes.

I thought "snuff" is someone killing someone else and getting sexual gratification from it.
