Welcome to Round Two of the FFXV Kink Meme!

The important rules in short:

Post anonymously.
Negative comments on other people's prompts (kink-shaming, pairing-bashing etc.) and personal attacks of any kind will not be tolerated.
Don't be an asshole.
One prompt per comment. Warnings for common triggers and squicks are encouraged, but not required.
Prompts should follow the format: Character/character, prompt.
Keep prompts to a reasonable length; prompts should not be detailed story outlines.
Fills should have the word "Fill:" at the start of the subject line.
Otherwise please avoid changing the subject line.

UPDATE 3/2/2017: Per the Rules thread: Do not hijack prompts. If someone posts a prompt for one pairing, don't comment to say "I want to see this for [other kink]" - post your own prompt for the other kink). To that end, if you are unclear on a prompter's kinks/DNWs, please feel free to ask about them. If you ask about kinks/DNWs or to clarify a prompt, you are in no way obligated to fill it.

Additionally: Do not repost prompts from the previous round in their entirety. By this we mean copying and pasting prompts without any changes. If you see a similar prompt to a prior prompt, that is not a repost. Obviously prompts that are reposted per the above rule do not count either. (After all, they will be similar but not the same.)

I was just reminded that it's almost been a month?!? I'm so sorry for the delay! Here we go, OP!

It was the night of the post-graduation awards ceremony, and Prompto Argentum couldn’t make it past the door.

“Look,” he said, digging in his jacket pockets for the fourth time. “I know I lost my invitation, but I’m… I’m Prompto Argentum, I’m receiving the Engineering award…”

The man at the door looked him over, lips pressed tight in disapproval. Prompto knew that his suit wasn’t pressed, or even remotely new. It was faded at the sleeves and scuffed at the hem, his shoes had holes near the heel and his tie was the same one he’d owned since the start of high school. He could have worn his uniform, but it was on rent until graduation, and that happened two months ago.

Behind him, Nyx, Libertus, and Crowe voiced their own objections.

“He went to this school,” Libertus pointed out. “Are you tellin’ me you ain’t—aren’t gonna let him in ‘cause he left his invite at home?”

The man’s expression was merciless and unmoving. “Go back and get the invitation, and I will be glad to let him and his plus one enter.”

“There are entire families coming in!” Crowe said. “I just saw one of them.”

“And are you his family?” the man said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

“You bet your pompous little ass we are,” Libertus said. Crowe smacked him on the arm.

Nyx stepped up behind Prompto, placing a hand on his shoulder. “He’s one of the best students you had,” he said, and Prompto’s face went a ruddy pink. “Just let him in. The rest of us’ll wait outside.”

Prompto tugged at his jacket. If Noct were here, this would be easier. All Noct had to do was glare, and people were bending over backwards to accommodate him. But the prince hadn’t been nominated for any awards and was staying home, so Prompto was stuck here, facing down a condescending man in a fancy pinstriped suit, begging to get into an awards ceremony that was supposed to honor him.

“No,” he said. The others turned to him. “No, I’m going with you guys, or I’m not going at all.” He turned, ducking out from under Nyx’s arm. “Let’s just go home.”

Libertus grumbled darkly, and Crowe flashed the man at the door some incredibly vulgar gestures, but Nyx just followed in step with Prompto. He touched the younger man’s palm, and Prompto blinked as Nyx’s hand slipped around his.

“You’re too good for them anyways,” he said.

“Right,” Libertus shouted. “You know what?” He smacked Prompto on the back, jerking him forward a step. “We’re gonna have our own awards ceremony. Crowe, think you can liberate some of that ginger beer from Sal’s?”

“What, you think I can’t?” Crowe glanced down at Prompto’s fingers squeezing Nyx’s, and winked, making Prompto flush deeply. “I’ll meet you guys at the rainbow garden. You know, where the rich people live.”

Nyx laughed as she darted off towards the lower city. “I guess it’s settled, huh, Prom?” he said, and Prompto smiled back, the pink of his cheeks running full-force to scarlet.

Crowe came back with two cases of ginger beer, two bags of pastries, and a third case of something a little less tame. “For the grown-ups,” she told Prompto, who scowled darkly.

“He’s already an adult, Crowe,” Nyx reminded her.

“More than you,” Prompto added, and caught the bag of pastries before it could land on his face. “Hey! Don’t bring the desserts into this!”

They settled down in a secluded gazebo, strung with white and blue fairy lights on copper wires, and utterly decimated an entire case of drinks and most of the pastries in half an hour.

“Alright, alright, alright,” Libertus said, having broken into the adult case a little early. “Awards. Crowe, the trophy.” Crowe passed him an empty bottle, and he shrugged. “This works.”

“The winner,” Libertus announced, climbing onto the bench with his hands on his hips, “of the Most Likely To Make A Man Piss His Pants Out Of Sheer Terror Award, is… Drumroll, Prompto.”

Prompto slapped his palms on his knees.

“Crowe Altius!”

Crowe rose to her feet and bowed magnanimously. Libertus handed her the empty bottle, which she clutched to her chest as though it were a precious trophy.

“Thank you,” she said. “I would like to thank my dear friends Libertus and Prompto. Without you, I would’ve never perfected the evil eye. I… I’m so…” She shook with mock tears. “So blessed to be here today…”

Nyx booed loudly.

“Notice who I’m not thanking, asshole.”

“You love me,” Nyx said, and she rolled her eyes. “It’s your turn, Crowe.”

“Right,” she said. She looked at Prompto, who was leaning against Nyx’s shoulder, and a slight smile formed on her lips. “Let's do a classic. The award for the Most Likely To Succeed goes to…”

“Prompto,” Nyx said, in a blasé tone. Prompto sat up, staring at him with the faintest pink tinge on his cheeks. “What? It’s obvious.”

“I was gonna say me,” Crowe pointed out.

“You can’t nominate yourself, Crowe.”

“Yeah, Lib? Watch me!”

Prompto barely registered the fight occurring between Libertus and Crowe over the trophy bottle, still focused on the man at his side.

“You don’t mean that,” he said.

Nyx’s smile was wry. “Of course I do, Prom,” he said. “When we first met, you could barely read. Now you’re winning scholarships and engineering awards, you’re on the fast track to becoming a permanent member of the prince’s retinue… And have you even seen your photos?”

“I’m not really… it’s just a… a hobby…” Prompto couldn’t seem to find his voice. Nyx ran a hand up his arm, and he felt a cold shiver run through his skin.

“People like you are the reason the Kingsglaive exists,” Nyx told him. “Making sure you get the chance to do something great, make things better for the rest of us. Even if it’s just a hobby.”

“And the award,” Crowe whispered, darting in to press her lips to Prompto’s ear, “for the couple who should kiss already—“

Prompto lifted his hand to push Crowe out of the way, not minding her shout of dismay when his finger accidentally poked at her eye. Nyx looked from him to Crowe, opened his mouth to speak, and let out a hitching breath as Prompto pulled his head towards him. They sat there a moment, lips a mere inch apart, Prompto’s eyes tense with yearning and uncertainty. Then Nyx closed the distance, and all of Prompto’s awareness narrowed to the heat of his lips, the scrape of stubble, the brush of calloused fingers at the nape of his neck.

“Hell,” said Libertus. “You were right.”

“I’m always right,” Crowe said, as Nyx gathered Prompto into his arms. She lifted the bottle high, the lights of the garden shining off the smoky glass. “And the winner is…”

“Me,” Prompto said, running his lips along the line of Nyx’s jaw. Nyx chuckled, and he felt the tremor of his breath against his chest.

“Hey,” Nyx said, grinning as Prompto dragged him in for another deep, fervent kiss. “That was my line.”

Crowe is the absolute best and I love her and I love this and I love you for writing this
