Prompt Post
Welcome to Round Two of the FFXV Kink Meme!
CLOSED for prompts | OPEN for fills
Please have a look at the extended rules here.
The important rules in short:
Please direct any questions or report any problems to the Ask a mod post.
Prompt, write, draw, comment, and most importantly have fun!
(You can also check out our Pinboard for Filled or Unfilled prompts)
UPDATE 3/2/2017: Per the Rules thread: Do not hijack prompts. If someone posts a prompt for one pairing, don't comment to say "I want to see this for [other kink]" - post your own prompt for the other kink). To that end, if you are unclear on a prompter's kinks/DNWs, please feel free to ask about them. If you ask about kinks/DNWs or to clarify a prompt, you are in no way obligated to fill it.
Additionally: Do not repost prompts from the previous round in their entirety. By this we mean copying and pasting prompts without any changes. If you see a similar prompt to a prior prompt, that is not a repost. Obviously prompts that are reposted per the above rule do not count either. (After all, they will be similar but not the same.)
ROUND TWO IS NOW CLOSED FOR PROMPTS!
Go ahead and keep on filling away, we will open up round three for prompts at 0000 EST, Saturday April 22, 2017.

Re: [Fill] It Takes a Crownsguard pt 2/?
(Anonymous) 2017-03-27 07:17 am (UTC)(link)But now that they had rejoined Iris and had gotten to the safe house in Cape Caem, it was harder to ignore, especially when all of them were waiting outside the bathroom listening to her retch up her lunch. “Maybe it’s just the Leviathan… or the Glacean calling?” Prompto suggested. “I mean the headaches went away as soon as you fought the Archaean so if we get to Altissa-”
“Then why didn’t anything happen after we met Ramuh?” Gladio cut in. “It’s probably just something she ate, the princess’ delicate stomach and all that.”
“I’ll pretend you didn’t just suggest that.” Ignis rebuked. “We’ve all been eating the same things and none of us have gotten sick yet. And for all she liked to pretend to get out of eating things she didn’t like, Noctis has never been particularly prone to stomach illness, at least no more than any normal person.”
“Maybe she’s pregnant?” Talcott suggested. The young boy didn’t seem to notice how everyone in the room seemed to freeze at that comment. “From what I’ve read all of Princess Noctis’ symptoms are consistent with happens when someone is with child, so maybe-”
“Don’t be ridiculous Talcott.” Iris cut in. “For Noctis to be pregnant someone would have to…” That was when she noticed the guilty looks on all the guys faces. “Oh no you guys, Gladdy you didn’t.”
“I’m sorry Iris.” Gladio offered. He had never been completely sure how much of Iris’ affections for Noctis fell into hero worship for the older girl and how much of it carried over into full on crush territory. He was pretty sure it was around half and half, but even then he hated doing anything that would hurt Iris even a little.
“But I mean-” And Prompto glanced over at Talcott and Iris before continuing, not wanting to say anything too inappropriate in front of innocent ears. “We used protection. Which is super important and something everyone should do before partaking… in stuff.” Talcott just looked on expectantly wanting to know more, while Iris just gave an unimpressed look at Prompto. “Sex, the word is sex. Education isn’t so bad in Insomnia that neither Talcott or I don’t know where babies come from.”
“Even with protection there’s always a small chance of failure.” Ignis informed, contemplating the possibility. “At any rate it wouldn’t hurt to check. If someone wouldn’t mind accompanying me, we could pick up some tests from a nearby convenience store.” With that he turned to the door. “I know you’ve heard all that Noctis, is there anything else we can grab for you while we’re there?”
There was silence for a while before a small voice spoke up from behind the door. “A hot water bottle would be nice.”
“All right then,” Ignis replied. “Prompto, Gladio come along. Iris, if you and Talcott could look after Noctis while we’re gone it would be appreciated.” Ignis was already scribbling down something on a notepad. “Here’s a recipe for some light soup that should be easy enough to keep down. Try and see if you can get her to eat something to replace everything she’s just thrown up.” After seeing the determination light up on the two younger members of their group, Ignis gestured to the Gladio and Prompto to follow him down.
“Wow Ignis,” Prompto spoke, jogging a bit to catch up to Ignis’ brisk pace. “I can’t believe how chill you’re being about this. Y’know considering.”
“Someone has to be.” Ignis replied, pulling out the keys now that they were in range of the car. “And if this is the case, someone needs to make plans for what to do in the future.”
“Yeah…” Gladio said, already lost in thought. “Someone has to.”
---
Ignis had made sure to grab at least three different pregnancy tests at the drug store. “In case one of them fails.” He informed. While they were there, they also picked up a few other necessities and tried not to blush too hard when the chatty sales clerk asked which one of them was the lucky guy. Back at the safe house, Noctis managed to get some of Iris’ soup down and humored the kids with a discussion of what the kid’s name would be.
“If it’s Ignis’, it’ll have to be Specs junior.” Noctis said.
“Even if it’s a girl?” Talcot questioned.
“Especially if it’s a girl.” Noctis replied solemnly.
“What if they never need glasses?” Talcott asked. “Wouldn’t their name be a bit contradictory then?”
Noctis scoffed at that. “Both Ignis and Prompto need glasses, even if Prompto wears contacts most of the time. Chances are kid’ll inherit it from one of them, unless y’know its-”
“If it’s Gladio’s, then can I be the godmother?” Iris asked. “I’ve always wanted to be Aunty Iris!” And the look of excitement on Iris’ face helped Noctis forget the fact that she was still scared at the thought of potentially being pregnant. At least someone was happy about all this.
“You can be godmother regardless of if it’s Gladio’s or not.” Noctis offered. “Kid’ll probably be cuter if it isn’t but who knows? Maybe it’ll inherit all the good Amicitia genes that seemed to skip your brother and go straight into you.” Before the conversation continued, they heard a noise at the door as the others came back from their trip to the store.”Well, time to find out if there even is going to be a kid.”
Ignis handed her the tests at the door and she ran up to the bathroom to run the tests. A few minutes later and they had their answer.
“Positive. All three of them are positive.” There was still the very slight chance that they could be wrong, but it wasn’t like they could afford to see an obstetrician at this point. “It has to be from that night, so that means the kid’s like what? A little over three months along now?”
Three months… it was good that they caught it before Noctis headed well into the second trimester. At the first, all the physical activity and injury Noctis had been through could be taken without too much worry over complications. From now on though, it would be best to keep her out of harm’s way until the baby was born. “Cid is still fixing up the ship, so we’d have been stuck here until the repairs were made either way.” Ignis offered as they tried to figure out how this would set them back. “We need mythril, but the only place we know of some to be located is blocked off by the empire.” There was an unspoken message in there that they especially did not need to let the empire know that Noctis was with child.
“It would be a bit suspicious if we showed up without Noct.” Prompto had gotten uncharacteristically solemn at the mention of the empire.
Gladio, who had been silent up to this point had finally spoken up. “If we’re not going anywhere for a while, I need to go do something.” At the look of surprise on Prompto and Noctis’ face and the look of disappointment on Ignis’, Gladio added on. “I’m not trying to run away or anything stupid like that, just saying that there’s no point in letting the time go to waste. We all need to be ready for what comes ahead.”
The others still looked unhappy about his leaving, but they understood. “I should probably check if there are any local hunts me and Prompto can manage alone.” Ignis said. “Gladio’s right that we should try to make the best use of this time as we can.”
“And I guess I can help Iris grow carrots or something…” Noctis offered, not knowing what more she could do at this point without getting in the way. This whole thing had been a disaster and the last thing she wanted was to do something that could make it even worse.
