Chocobro OT4 - Protecting the Caelum family legacy (pregnancy)
(Anonymous) 2017-03-14 06:22 am (UTC)(link)This changes things pretty drastically, as they're all still determined to get Noctis to Altissia and follow through with their initial plans - but now they have to commit to protecting Noct & his baby.
Noctis gives birth before things turn south & he gets sucked into the crystal, leaving the three of them to raise the baby on their own. (maybe they leave it with iris before they depart or smthn idk)
+Noctis can be fem or trans - no preference really, but please no ABO or straight up mpreg. That's all I ask. :x
++if you do reveal who the father is, I'm partial to Ignis or Gladio!
+++noctis has a daughter... just cuz
++++somehow turn it into a happy ending :> bittersweet even.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-14 05:33 pm (UTC)(link)[Fill] It Takes a Crownsguard pt 1/?
(Anonymous) 2017-03-15 03:04 am (UTC)(link)----------------------------------------
She stared in the mirror. Luna had given her some advice when she mentioned she was nervous about marrying Ravus. She had assured her that her brother was a good man, even if he was dumb and angry (the exact wording used the terms “misguided” and “frustrated” but Noctis figured Luna was just being nice), and suggested that Noctis put on her wedding dress to calm herself down. She could see how such as act would help someone like Luna, who was beautiful enough that the sight of seeing her standing straight and proud in a gorgeous dress would be enough to inspire confidence in anyone, but on Noctis it felt less an inspiration and more a cruel joke. The more she stared at herself in the mirror, the more she was regretting ever pulling the dress out of the Regalia’s trunk.
The dress itself was beautiful, black with gold accents as was traditional for Lucian nobility, but it didn’t feel right that she would be the one to wear it. The dress looked like it was made for a queen, which she supposed wasn’t too far from the truth. Still, Noctis didn’t feel like a queen, and thus the dress didn’t feel like it should be hers. No amount of posture, or regal manner would make up for the fact that she wasn’t ready for the responsibilities that were expected of her as the heir to her country. And no dress was going to be able to hide that the girl wearing it was far from the person that she needed to be to meet the demands of her position.
The only good feeling she had about wearing the dress was that it apparently pissed some people in Niflheim off, as if the dress itself were a political statement. Aside from the Crown City, the rest of the world had moved on to white wedding dresses, a representation of the purity of the bride or some other bullshit. The fact that she was wearing black was supposedly a symbol of how she had been made impure before marriage and how horrible it must be for poor Ravus to have such a scandalous bride. At least that was what it said on the Nif papers. She and Prompto had spent a good portion of a lazy afternoon mocking the sentiment in a game that started when Prompto poked her arm and muttered “defiled”. The exaggerated roleplay got more and more convoluted as the game went on and Noctis’ list of fictional sordid affairs got longer and longer.
It was probably bad that she preferred the fiction she and Prompto had created to the truth that she was coming to the marriage as a virgin. At least that version of Noctis was able to have some fun before she got shoved onto some loveless political marriage, even if it was with the detestable Lord Firebottoms. This version of Noctis was going to have her first time spent with a guy she barely knew, who openly detested her and the rest of her family. And it wasn’t like she was even trying to keep herself untouched for her wedding, it just kinda happened. She wasn’t all that social to begin with, and it was hard finding people who liked you for yourself when you also happened to be royalty. She’d been propositioned by some of the lesser nobility and upper class, but like she was really so stupid that she would risk an incident by sleeping with shameless social climbers.
She was knocked out of her moping when she heard a shuffling at the door. “Hey, Noct, have you seen where I put my gun oil? I could’ve sworn I put it in my camera bag, but when I looked at it wasn’t–” When she turned around she found Prompto staring at her as if he had just discovered at that very moment that she was in fact a girl. A blush was steadily growing on his face as he tried and failed to find his words. If she had ever wondered whether she was grateful or upset that Prompto never got as flustered around her as he did with literally any other girl he met, she was certain she knew the answer now.
“Come on,” Noctis spoke up trying to snap Prompto out of his confusion. “It’s not like you’ve never seen me in a dress before.” There was that one time at the graduation dinner, and the other time at her birthday party and she was pretty sure she wore a dress to school once in elementary school… and no that was it wasn’t it, at least for the times Prompto had actually been there.
“I–” Prompto scratched his head nervously trying to wring out some of the nerves. It seemed to help because a few moments later he was finally able to form sentences. “Sorry for that Noct. I mean– you look nice, but that doesn’t mean I should act like a complete weirdo because of it. Did, did you want some pictures before the wedding or something? Or were you just trying it on because?” Despite the casual way he say said it, Noctis noticed Prompto was looking at anywhere in the loom that wasn’t her.
Frustrated with her friend’s behavior, Noctis blurt out “Look, it’s not a big deal. It’s not like you caught me naked or anything I’m just in a dress–” and with that suddenly Gladio and Ignis were in the room as well. She’d be concerned about how fast they got there after hearing that, but she was pretty sure she had somehow trained Ignis to come running at any mention of her in a dress. She had eventually grown out of it, but there were a few years when she refused to wear anything “girly” and he was the poor sap who had to convince her to dress up for formal events. As for Gladio, she overheard him promising Iris to get some shots of her in her wedding dress so she was pretty sure that was what got him there in a flash.
A few moments of silence passed before Gladio finally spoke up. “So… you look nice.”
“Arggg!” Noctis groaned, making to just take the damned dress off already. Prompto let out a squeak as he rushed to get out the door before tripping on his own feet. Ignis and Gladio just politely turned away, too used to it by this point to let it bother them. She knew this whole thing was a bad idea. It was supposed to make her feel better and now she just felt embarrassed at being caught looking like an idiot in front of the only three people who liked her for who she wa… Now there was an idea. She was already taking her clothes off in front of them, after all. That was like, half the work wasn’t it?
Noticing that the noise of a very expensive dress rustling was no longer to be heard, Ignis spoke up in concern. “Are you alright Noct? You aren’t stuck are you?”
Well that was a good enough opening as any she supposed. “If I were, would you help me out of it?” Her voice was less sultry and more shy than she wanted it to be, so she shouldn’t have been surprised that Gladio snorted and Ignis turned around in a brisk movement to do what he believed was his duty as chamberlain in ensuring his princess did not ruin her wedding dress in a failed attempt to remove it. Only the moment he turned around to see the top half already off, and her not wearing a bra underneath, he immediately did an about face. “Well I can see you’ve figured it out.” He spoke hurriedly, using one hand to grab Gladio by the arm and tugging up Prompto with the other. “If that will be all, we’ll leave the rest to you.”
“Wait!” Noctis shouted, grabbing a hairbrush from off the nearby dresser and tossing it at the door so she warp there instead of attempting to run in the heavy, half-off dress. She got there just before they could make their escape, her sudden appearance giving all of them an eyeful before they could look away. As long as she had their attention, though, “I need one of you to have sex with me. Like, tonight.”
If she hadn’t before she was fairly certain that statement had broken Prompto, who looked ready to spontaneously combust right that instant. Ignis wasn’t doing much better, his face doing the thing it did whenever he was making some very rapid mental calculations. That left Gladio as the only one coherent enough to speak. “Look, Noct, just because you’re nervous doesn’t mean you have to throw yourself at the first three people you see. If you need to blow off some steam, I’m sure we can find something–”
“Forget it.” Noctis interrupted. “It was a stupid idea, and I can tell you guys aren’t interested.” She moved aside, ready to just sleep off all the bad feelings when Prompto spoke up.
“Are you kidding, dude there’s no way anyone wouldn’t be interested.” Noctis turned to look at him and was surprised at how earnest he looked. The sudden attention, however made him nervous again and he looked away before continuing. “That just sounded totally creepy didn’t it? What I mean Noct, is that you’re an amazing person and anyone would be lucky to have you.”
“Prompto’s right,” Ignis cut in, Prompto’s words inspiring him to act. “If you’re sure this is something you want, I’m sure it would be an honor for any one of us to acquiesce.”
“Yeah, screw Ravus!” Gladio jeered.
“I’d rather screw one of you guys.” Noctis tossed back, feeling better hearing the normalcy in their groans at her bad joke.
“So,” Noctis asked. “What now?”
“Now, I suppose you choose which one of us you’d like to take to bed,” Ignis replied. “With the understanding that none of us will have any hard feelings over not being selected.” Gladio and Prompto both nodded in agreement at that, sharing the sentiment that their friendship with Noctis was more important than who she chose to sleep with.
Looking over the three of them, she found herself unable to make a decision. She liked all of them and didn’t want to pick one over the others, but then again, maybe she didn’t have to. “I think I have a better idea.”

Re: [Fill] It Takes a Crownsguard pt 2/?
(Anonymous) 2017-03-27 07:17 am (UTC)(link)But now that they had rejoined Iris and had gotten to the safe house in Cape Caem, it was harder to ignore, especially when all of them were waiting outside the bathroom listening to her retch up her lunch. “Maybe it’s just the Leviathan… or the Glacean calling?” Prompto suggested. “I mean the headaches went away as soon as you fought the Archaean so if we get to Altissa-”
“Then why didn’t anything happen after we met Ramuh?” Gladio cut in. “It’s probably just something she ate, the princess’ delicate stomach and all that.”
“I’ll pretend you didn’t just suggest that.” Ignis rebuked. “We’ve all been eating the same things and none of us have gotten sick yet. And for all she liked to pretend to get out of eating things she didn’t like, Noctis has never been particularly prone to stomach illness, at least no more than any normal person.”
“Maybe she’s pregnant?” Talcott suggested. The young boy didn’t seem to notice how everyone in the room seemed to freeze at that comment. “From what I’ve read all of Princess Noctis’ symptoms are consistent with happens when someone is with child, so maybe-”
“Don’t be ridiculous Talcott.” Iris cut in. “For Noctis to be pregnant someone would have to…” That was when she noticed the guilty looks on all the guys faces. “Oh no you guys, Gladdy you didn’t.”
“I’m sorry Iris.” Gladio offered. He had never been completely sure how much of Iris’ affections for Noctis fell into hero worship for the older girl and how much of it carried over into full on crush territory. He was pretty sure it was around half and half, but even then he hated doing anything that would hurt Iris even a little.
“But I mean-” And Prompto glanced over at Talcott and Iris before continuing, not wanting to say anything too inappropriate in front of innocent ears. “We used protection. Which is super important and something everyone should do before partaking… in stuff.” Talcott just looked on expectantly wanting to know more, while Iris just gave an unimpressed look at Prompto. “Sex, the word is sex. Education isn’t so bad in Insomnia that neither Talcott or I don’t know where babies come from.”
“Even with protection there’s always a small chance of failure.” Ignis informed, contemplating the possibility. “At any rate it wouldn’t hurt to check. If someone wouldn’t mind accompanying me, we could pick up some tests from a nearby convenience store.” With that he turned to the door. “I know you’ve heard all that Noctis, is there anything else we can grab for you while we’re there?”
There was silence for a while before a small voice spoke up from behind the door. “A hot water bottle would be nice.”
“All right then,” Ignis replied. “Prompto, Gladio come along. Iris, if you and Talcott could look after Noctis while we’re gone it would be appreciated.” Ignis was already scribbling down something on a notepad. “Here’s a recipe for some light soup that should be easy enough to keep down. Try and see if you can get her to eat something to replace everything she’s just thrown up.” After seeing the determination light up on the two younger members of their group, Ignis gestured to the Gladio and Prompto to follow him down.
“Wow Ignis,” Prompto spoke, jogging a bit to catch up to Ignis’ brisk pace. “I can’t believe how chill you’re being about this. Y’know considering.”
“Someone has to be.” Ignis replied, pulling out the keys now that they were in range of the car. “And if this is the case, someone needs to make plans for what to do in the future.”
“Yeah…” Gladio said, already lost in thought. “Someone has to.”
---
Ignis had made sure to grab at least three different pregnancy tests at the drug store. “In case one of them fails.” He informed. While they were there, they also picked up a few other necessities and tried not to blush too hard when the chatty sales clerk asked which one of them was the lucky guy. Back at the safe house, Noctis managed to get some of Iris’ soup down and humored the kids with a discussion of what the kid’s name would be.
“If it’s Ignis’, it’ll have to be Specs junior.” Noctis said.
“Even if it’s a girl?” Talcot questioned.
“Especially if it’s a girl.” Noctis replied solemnly.
“What if they never need glasses?” Talcott asked. “Wouldn’t their name be a bit contradictory then?”
Noctis scoffed at that. “Both Ignis and Prompto need glasses, even if Prompto wears contacts most of the time. Chances are kid’ll inherit it from one of them, unless y’know its-”
“If it’s Gladio’s, then can I be the godmother?” Iris asked. “I’ve always wanted to be Aunty Iris!” And the look of excitement on Iris’ face helped Noctis forget the fact that she was still scared at the thought of potentially being pregnant. At least someone was happy about all this.
“You can be godmother regardless of if it’s Gladio’s or not.” Noctis offered. “Kid’ll probably be cuter if it isn’t but who knows? Maybe it’ll inherit all the good Amicitia genes that seemed to skip your brother and go straight into you.” Before the conversation continued, they heard a noise at the door as the others came back from their trip to the store.”Well, time to find out if there even is going to be a kid.”
Ignis handed her the tests at the door and she ran up to the bathroom to run the tests. A few minutes later and they had their answer.
“Positive. All three of them are positive.” There was still the very slight chance that they could be wrong, but it wasn’t like they could afford to see an obstetrician at this point. “It has to be from that night, so that means the kid’s like what? A little over three months along now?”
Three months… it was good that they caught it before Noctis headed well into the second trimester. At the first, all the physical activity and injury Noctis had been through could be taken without too much worry over complications. From now on though, it would be best to keep her out of harm’s way until the baby was born. “Cid is still fixing up the ship, so we’d have been stuck here until the repairs were made either way.” Ignis offered as they tried to figure out how this would set them back. “We need mythril, but the only place we know of some to be located is blocked off by the empire.” There was an unspoken message in there that they especially did not need to let the empire know that Noctis was with child.
“It would be a bit suspicious if we showed up without Noct.” Prompto had gotten uncharacteristically solemn at the mention of the empire.
Gladio, who had been silent up to this point had finally spoken up. “If we’re not going anywhere for a while, I need to go do something.” At the look of surprise on Prompto and Noctis’ face and the look of disappointment on Ignis’, Gladio added on. “I’m not trying to run away or anything stupid like that, just saying that there’s no point in letting the time go to waste. We all need to be ready for what comes ahead.”
The others still looked unhappy about his leaving, but they understood. “I should probably check if there are any local hunts me and Prompto can manage alone.” Ignis said. “Gladio’s right that we should try to make the best use of this time as we can.”
“And I guess I can help Iris grow carrots or something…” Noctis offered, not knowing what more she could do at this point without getting in the way. This whole thing had been a disaster and the last thing she wanted was to do something that could make it even worse.
