And legit: My first playthrough I didn't pay much attention to Jared when he showed up, and after he was killed I spent half the damn game trying to figure out who the fuck was Jared?. Like, I knew it was the old guy with Talcott, but I couldn't figure out what his importance was and why the hell everyone else besides Talcott was mourning him so hard. And yet they didn't mourn anybody else! God that made me rage so hard.
