So in whatever way you decide, Ardyn is the king and Noctis' birth father. Noctis is still the Chosen King and Ardyn realizes he has to get his son to hate him in order for him to eventually kill him. Maybe Ardyn seduces/sleeps with Noctis' friends. Maybe he hits on Noctis himself. Just anything that would make Noctis want to fulfill his role.
