The reason Noctis has such low stamina is because he has chronic pain from the injury he got from the Marilith. No one who knows this has told anyone that actually interacts with the Prince. So when Noctis has a bad day, and misses practice with Gladio or completely blocks out Ignis when he's trying to tell/teach Noctis something, they believe that he is just being a brat.

I want reactions when they find out.

Gladio seems to have issues with respect if someone doesn't fit into the boxes he has for them so I'm not sure how much he's going to care. Or how much he understands of what chronic pain is and why Noct gets away with not practicing on a set schedule.

Gen or any pairing but Ardyn.

Noctis has chronic pain, while the daemon poison/curse was eliminated from his system the Invasion of Tenebrae happened before he was fully healed. He gets terrible cramps in his back and because he doesn't want to trouble anyone he doesn't tell anyone.

Then there's Nyx. Nyx of the fire hands. For some reason or other Nyx finds out about Noct's pain and offers a massage. When an ordinary massage doesn't seem to work and his Prince is still in pain he calls up his magic and he ends up with flames that are warm/hot but don't burn covering his hands as he massages Noctis. Noct is painless (or has much reduced pain) and asleep when Nyx stops.

Can be before a relationship is established, what they build on.

I just really love Nyx/Noct and magic.

This was kind of inspired by the next life thing with the Kingdom Hearts fandom.

Since I subscribe to the theory that all of the boys died at the end (because I like putting myself in pain), it's really comforting to think of the boys as being reincarnated. So please give me the "next life" fic for Final Fantasy. I don't mind if it's shippy or platonic.

Bonus points for the boys being reincarnated in ways that you wouldn't expect, and if they get occasional memories but aren't reborn remembering everything.
Bonus for other members of the cast being reborn too.

Ignis tries a new recipe with some plants he found, and accidentally cooks up the dankest, most potent weed brownies in the history of Eos.
Cue the bros high as a fucking kite, having dnms and generally an amazing time before getting interrupted by some monsters and having to fight while under it.

+ Noct's magic is cool normally, but warping while high is a sensory experience.

So I'm amazed that Noctis was able to just walk around on his own without guards and whatnot in the anime. So lets say there was a situation that finally led to the King deciding that Prompto should probably be getting some weapons training. So basically

Noctis and Prompto are kidnapped/taken hostage on one of those days out (maybe walking home from school or something similar to the anime). The kidnappers intent was to get Noctis, but poor Prompto is taken along as well. Up to the filler if Noctis is being held for ransom, a group that dislikes the royal family or whatever. But they decide they're bored and want to play with Prompto while poor Noctis is forced to watch.

Ignis is pregnant with his and Gladio's first child, a son, Gladio's Amicitia heir. Ignis is naturally maternal and loves being pregnant, can't wait till he can mother his baby. Gladio just loves how happy and beautiful Ignis is while pregnant with his child. Cue Gladio being the ever doting dad to be. He makes sure Ignis is always comfortable, forces him to take it easy, pampers the hell out of his sore body...etc. Then Ignis goes into labor.

+Ignis gives birth with Gladio by his side. Even in labor, Ignis is quiet and proper. He makes little to no noise to Gladios shock.
++Gladio comforts his husband/lover during labor, feeding him ice chips, rubbing his stomach, whispering sweet encouragements...etc.

I just want domestic and sweet fluff. I'mma sucker for mpreg fluffy fics.

Prompto and Noctis decide to skip class by hanging out under the bleachers. There the two decide to experiment with something Noctis has been wanting to try for a long time. (Brotherhood era)

One night, Noctis is separated from the others during a battle, kidnapped, and gang-raped. After the act, he manages to clean himself up/use a potion to heal most of his physical wounds, but emotionally he is destroyed. He makes his way back to the others and tries to put on a brave face until he can grieve alone, but the others quickly discover something is wrong. It takes a lot of prodding and pleading, but eventually Noctis collapses in tears and tells them what happened. The others are shocked and angry with themselves for being unable to save their precious prince from such a horrific attack. The bros vow to get revenge for Noctis, but first they focus on comforting him and reassuring him that he's loved and safe.

So Prompto has to be a scholarship student or something to be able to attend the same school as Noctis. I'm assuming that the children of other elite families and whatnot also attend this school. So lets say it just ticks or rubs them the wrong way that, Prompto (a nobody, someone who isn't from a prestigious family or anything)comes along and becomes BFF's with the prince.

They begin to bully and pick on him (when Noctis isn't around). Prompto keeps quiet about it, he doesn't want to cause trouble for Noctis, especially now that he actually became friends with him. I imagine that maybe there's one particular bully (bully could like Prompto and is pissed he's always with Noctis, idk) who has it out for Prompto and does worse things each time (just touching to eventually attempted or full on noncon). The bullying gets worse and shit hits the fan one day when Noctis is absent (princely duties or something idk). Noctis and the bros find out and are furious.

Noctis gets hit with a status ailment that wipes his memories of adulthood. Mentally he's a scared little 8-year-old that doesn't understand where he is and he just wants his dad. The bros have to figure out how to deal with this.

Older Noctis travels back in time (physically, so younger Noctis is around) to just pre-game. He hangs younger Gladio who is pining for his prince and thinking he's found this hot 30-ish guy who kinda looks like Noctis to top the hell out of him.

++++older Noctis is an Ardyn-type who's been alive for hundreds of years and is about to snap. He travelled back in time to kill his vulnerable younger self and barely even remembers Gladio beyond "that Amicitia who was supposed to protect me"
+++++++++Gladio heals Noctis with his nobility/bravery/etc

Prompto likes to be feminine behind closed doors. He especially loves lingerie, light make-up and nail polish. Gladio is aware of Prompto's fetishes, but Prompto is too shy and ashamed to be feminine around him most times. Gladio wants Prompto to feel comfortable and happy in their relationship, so he slowly coaxes Prompto to wear frilly things around the apartment and starts to buy him small, feminine things to make him feel special. One night he presents to Prompto a bottle of nail polish and starts to paint his nails. Prompto loves both the attention and nailpolish. But he especially loves his big, strong Gladio quietly and gently painting his nails while making him feel beautiful.

Prompto can be scary when he's angry, and someone pushes the wrong buttons. One day at school, Umbra comes to visit Noctis with his and Luna's book. People think the magic dog is weird, but the book Noctis always laughs at is even more weird. So two guys decide they're going to steal the book and read through it, even try to vandalize a few pages.

Noctis finds them with Prompto and fights to get it back. Where Prompto thinks all is settled, Noctis finds the page with the sylleblossom on it torn out and Luna's letter of encouraging love ruined. When Prompto sees the devistation on his friend's face, he goes after the ones that did this.

I just want to see a pregnant Prompto being doted on by his lover. Any of the bros will do. The more fluff the better.

Ignis is overwhelmed and stressed beyond belief. In addition to looking after his bratty and unpredictable prince, he has several reports and projects due all at the same time. After a long, horribly stressful day, Ignis hurries home and collapses onto his couch. Thankfully, Gladio has been waiting patiently for his worn out lover. He pulls his legs onto his lap and proceeds to give Ignis the best foot massage of of his life.

Gladio loves how tiny his lover feels in his arms. He likes covering his love's smaller body with his own, protecting him from everything that could hurt him. He loves holding his fragile hand in his huge one, loves that his arms are larger than his boyfriend's thighs. Everything about his lover's smaller frame turns him on.

A/N: just a bunch of size kink. I need it!!!! Any bro will do, although I'd personally love Noctis.

Noctis has been feeling a little (a lot) touch starved since their journey began. So he makes every effort he can to get all the warm encompassing embraces he can from his lovers.

Noctis and Prompto are pretty much that couple - you know the one that so sickeningly sweet together you just wanna chuck a bucket of water at 'em so they they'll melt and you won't listen to 'em any more. They're always together and always touching, holding hands or slinging arms around each other; they have silly little pet names; they'll spend excruciatingly long periods of gazing into each others and grinning like ninnies; they share everything - food, clothes, beds ect. It's obviously to anyone except themselves that these two are head over heels for each other. Clearly something must be done before all of Eos succumbs to diabetes.

They were childhood friends after all. What if there's something more to it, and Gladio's sense of responsibility for Noctis is also at least partially familial?

Prompto has extremely low self-esteem. He thinks he's ugly, skinny and stupid. Gladio thinks the exact opposite of him and thinks he's gorgeous, toned, and extremely kind and smart. When Gladio calls Prompto beautiful one night, Prompto breaks down in tears and denies it. Gladio is shocked at how extreme Prompto's poor self image is. He makes it his goal to show Prompto how beautiful he thinks he is. Over the course of their journey, Prompto slowly starts to believe his lover.

Noctis is acutely aware of his position as Royalty/Chosen King. Anything he expresses an opinion on has an effect.

When he was a child he mentioned not wanting to eat alone when a maid came and told him his father was going to be busy, so she ate with him. She was allergic to the meal and had to be hospitalized.

So he stopped letting people see, one way or another, what he felt about things. The only things he lets out are things that will not effect anyone else; his dislike of vegetables and how much he likes to sleep.

I want someone/people to notice in his late teens that they have no idea whether Noct would like something that was being considered and then poking around in their memory/the Citadel/the city to find something he does like and realizing something is weird.

I just really love reaction fics.

For whatever magical bullshit reason, this takes the form of him being enslaved and bound to serve one of the people who brought him down.

For whatever other magical bullshit reason, the one who's bonded as his master is Prompto.

Give me a taking-this-in-stride Ardyn and a freaked-out Prompto who is in no way ready to deal with this when all he wants to be doing is mourning his friend. Give me them weirdly finding ways to relate to each other. Could be sad, could be funny, could be kinky, could be some of all of that. It doesn't have to involve sex, but I'd like to to be on the consensual side if it does.
