Negative comments on other people's prompts (kink-shaming, pairing-bashing etc.) and personal attacks of any kind will not be tolerated.

The bros haven't seen Prompto in a while so they decide they're gonna visit his house.

+They realoze they don't actually know his address, so Ignis tracks his phone, which leads them to the shitty, slummy edges of Insomnia

++Prompto lives alone, his house dilapidated and dirty- dust is everywhere, pieces of furniture are broken, windows and mirrors smashed. There's red stains in some places as well as black

+++Prompto was sick or in the throes of a fit- he's twitchy and coughing and puking up the same stuff that MT's have in their veins

++++Ignis sneaks photos of Prompto's abysmal conditions for Noctis to show Regis how a member of the Crownsguard is living- how he has been living all his life

++++++He sneaks pictures of Prompto as well- being an MT they'll have to keep him safe and as a defect there's bound to be side affects and his environment isn't helping matters

King Regis dies fighting the Marilith, the Wall falls, and Nifleheim takes the opportunity to swoop in and take over, placing their Chancellor as regent as obviously an eight-year old boy cannot run a country by himself. Of course, Ardyn has no intention of giving up the throne when the prince comes of age at twenty, a date that is fast approaching...

-Abusive Ardyn - whether its purely psychological mind-fucking, gaslighting, and grooming, or contains elements of physical or even sexual abuse as well is up to the filler.

-Noctis trying to hide his connection to the crystal b/c who knows what Nifleheim will use his magic for. Maybe he plays up the lazy, spoiled bratty Prince image as cover.

-Ignis and Gladio are kept alive to maintain the illusion that one day Noctis will take over (even if only as a figurehead). They are both aware of this. Noctis isn't.

TLDR Noctis is Hamlet and Ardyn is Uncle Cladius.
Hey, Versus XIII was supposed to be based off Hamlet in the first place.

While traveling with Ardyn, the bros notice how creepy Ardyn is and how uncomfortable it makes Prompto. They make sure to keep Prompto a safe distance if they can

+Ardyn ia very touchy around Prompto

++When Prompto is out of earshot, Ardyn makes comemnts about how dainty Prompto is for a man, how he's got the perfect lips for giving blow jobs, etc.

++++ Whenever they eat, Ardyn just looks at Prompto and teases him. Ignis stopped making shish kabobs for a while after that

Can be 20-year-old Noct or 30-year-old Noct.

Noct goes back in time, to sometime when he was a kid and after Regis knows the truth about his fate. They get to talk and hang out together. Regis gets to see what his son will be like as a man and Noctis gets to have a good conversation with his dad. It gives both of them the strength to go on and do what they need to do.

What if the game took place in a time period where people didn't have modern tech like cell phones and motorized vehicles? I'll take anything on this theme, including art of the boys in period costumes!

If you want to include romance, I'm partial to Noctis/Prompto, but no matter what Chocobro pairing you pick, I'd especially love it if you address the difficulties of pursuing a homosexual relationship in earlier time periods.

The bros are meeting Prompto somewhere when they suddenly see a man run up behind Prompto and grab him, causing a fight

++Vaestral tries to stranglw him at first but gives up when Prompto tries to bite him. He manages to wrestle a gag/muzzle on him instead

+++Being a member of the Crownsguard, Prompto's attempted kidnapping gets a trial and Regis is appalled that a father would dare to muzzle his own child

+++++Cor and Clarus were called to the scene when it happened, and they had to wrestle Vaestral off of Prompto. Cor is especially protective as Vaestral spouts nonsense at Prompto as he's dragged out of the court room

Ignis, Prompto, and Gladio have all fallen on hard times for some handwavey reason.

Gladio starts seeing Regis on the sly, and Regis offers to take care of him financially while the two of them take a new turn in their relationship... Then Regis tells him that oh, yes, he has the same arrangement with these lovely young men, Ignis and Prompto, they're likely in the lounge, would you like to meet them?

Inspired by the one with Regis just a few posts up. Sorry anon, I love the OT4 too much.

So two of the boys are very well off/very rich. Separately they each acquire a sugar baby and everything's going well for both of them. Eventually they both discover that the their well off friend has a sugar baby, too, and he is hot.

Cue pining and wanting to buy gifts for their friend's sugar baby, and eventual confession and a happy poly relationship with two sugar daddies/babies each.

The only request I have for pairing the boys off is that it's NOT Sugar daddies Ignis and Gladio and Sugar babies Noctis and Prompto. I'd rather that at least one of the younger/smaller boys be a sugar daddy.

Any drama and smut that happens along the way to happiness is up to anon. Also feel free to set this in any universe, modern AU or canon or whatever.

Gladio finds out about Prompto's living/family situation and it bothers him a lot. Clarus notices something is bothering Gladio and decides to sit him down to discuss it

+Gladio tells Clarus how Prompto's life is- how his real dad experimented on him before his mom sent him to Insomnia. How his adoptive parents are neglectful and the house is a dirty shack and violates all kinds of health codes. How often Prompto has spent the night in jail with no one to bail him out. How he's been alone all his life until he met Noctis back in high school

+++Clarus discusses how differnet people will parent their children. It's quite obvious Prompto has never had a positive parental influence in his life and he wants to assure Gladio that he would never abandon him or Iris as Prompto had been abandoned

+++++Gladio mentions how Prompto is treated like an animal (maybe he witnessed the scientists at the Niff base putting him in a shock collar when they went to rescue him from Ardyn) and Clarus assures him that something like that will never happen. The next time Clarus sees Prompto, he sees the bruises around the young man's neck as Gladio described.

Basically Clarus and Gladio discussing how Prompto's situation is the opposite of what a family should be and how he will always be there for Iris and Gladio no matter what

Ignis is serving a meal to the Crownsguard trainees since Gladio is training them, and one of them really wants Gladio's attention

+He tries first by eating seductively. Gladio is just like "Dude don't play with your food thank my boyfriend and eat it"

++Second time the oc is making innuendos and Gladio is like "You need butter for your muffin? Just ask Ignis he knows where it is

+++Gladio doesn't catch on until the third time, when oc decides he's gonna feed Ignis the food, letting his fingers linger in Ignis's mouth as Ignis is kind of shocked that this is even happening and utterly embarassed as the oc decides to try and pull mouth to mouth feeding and Gladio just pulls Ignis away protectively and is like "Get the fuck out. If you feel it appropriate to mamhandle your fellow Crownsguard and force them into situationa they are uncomfortable with then you don't belong here."

So we all know Ignis is a spectacular cook, but everyone starts somewhere, right? I would like to read something where Ignis, just learning to cook gourmet food, tries to cook a new recipe and it turns out...less than good. Horrible, in fact. Like, not even Gladio would eat it kind of terrible.

Kinda hurt/comfort fic
Noctis is making his way through Zegnautus Keep and Ardyn sends illusions of people like Luna, The Chocobros, maybe even Regis to try to make him feel guilty for things that have happened (Luna and Regis's death, Prompto being pushed off the train, Ignis's blindness, etc). Ardyn continues to try breaking Noct down with these illusions until the bros finally arrive and try to help calm him down following the emotional torture (Prompto would be found by Ignis and Gladio beforehand)

Ignis is a very skilled driver and all, and is fairly reserved and well kept - but he likes to have some fun too.

He and Noct go out exploring the city one night, for fun, and Noctis learns that Ignis is really good at drifting. Now, Iggy's gotta show off his talent - so he drives him to an empty lot and takes Noct drifting and he thinks it's super sexy and exciting. so they make out a lot afterwards. or during idfk.

Im not 100% on what's fanon and what's canon, re: who knows Prompto is an MT and how he came to be in Insomnia and his situation with his parents.

But, for the sake of this prompt, let's say that Prompto is an orphan ward of the state, and that all the higher-ups (the king and his shield and the council members, etc) are aware of the MT that lives in their city.

So imagine everyone's concern at learning the prince has chosen him for a friend.

Bonus points for:

+added surveillance when they hang out
+meetings and reports and arguments about whether they should be ALLOWED to hang out at all.
+neither Prompto or Noctis being made aware of this

++Ignis can't tell him to leave because it's a public park and he isn't really being disruptive so he lets it slide

Just, Gladio is the new barrista at Noctis' favorite coffee shop, it's terrible becasue he hasn't been able to order once without getting all blushy and tongue tied because Gladio is hot af, but also kind and sweet and maybe flirting with Noctis. Noctis had the ~~blessings~~ misfortune of watching Gladio unloading a whole lot of, heavy looking, merchandise once without breaking a sweat. He has never fantasized about being picked up and fucked against any surface so much in his life.
