What if Gilgamesh was the very first Shield of the Lucis Caelum?

I'm talking some angst about how Gilgamesh couldn't save his king, so he hid away for 2000 years, waiting for the person who CAN save him.

+ If Gilgamesh becomes a daemon to live longer than humanely possible for that moment
++ If the souls in the DLC were once those loyal to Ardyn in his days as an Oracle

I just have this image in my head of Noctis doing the type of amazing stretches that ballet dancers can do. And it's something he has to do regularly to keep his old injury from fucking over his life.

Noct's in a situation that he desperately wants to escape/disappear from. Maybe he's being tortured, idk. So he tries to go to a place in his mind that's empty and separate from what's happening... which ends up triggering his power to add things to the armiger, and he ends up disappearing into it.

Good boy, Gladio.

Gladio leaves in chapter 7/8 not to go on a journey punching things in the face, but to spend a full week in Ardyn's company, being dommed and cared for and occasionally spanked delightfully.

The reason Gladio is so adamant about Noct carrying out his duty is because he carries the Amicitia clan's secret with him - they're tasked with both protecting the King and killing them if they ever stray from the crystal's path, because someone like Ardyn cannot be allowed to happen again.

- Noctis who is so beyond tired of listening to Prompto hit on and pine for every girl he meets (and not understanding the mindset at all, tbh).

- Noctis who is so damn uncomfortable getting hit on by Gladio's younger sister. Not just the fact that she's young but that she's so blatant about her desire for him. The desire part is what he's most uncomfortable with; being thought of that way.

- Noctis making himself sick with anxiety about the wedding and being expected to kiss his childhood friend and have sex with her.

- Noctis being so damn uncomfortable and disgusted and terrified by the constant ribbing from Gladio about "loverboy" this and "wedding" that.

- Noctis appreciating Ignis' complete lack of talk about anything remotely romantic or sexual. (But then that has the adverse effect of leaving Noctis blindsided on the occasions where Ignis does or says something to remind him that, oh yeah, "normal" people have a desire to pair up with someone and touch each other while naked) (Also, Ignis turns into a romantic sap in Altissia maybe)

- Noctis not liking massages because it's WAY TOO INTIMATE, OKAY??? (And Gladio won't stop cracking jokes about "happy endings" and awkward boners and, ugh. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if Noctis could stand to be intimate with literally anyone; maybe it's not so bad for people who are intimate regularly. But Noctis NOPES right out the second he feels that guy's hands on his lower back/hips).

Just.... aro-ace Noctis.

Sleeping around or just flirting with people and then turning them down so they get angry come after the real Noctis

Just ruining his public image and social life, and Noctis has no idea why people he doesn't know call him saying stuff like "Last night was great let's do it again." After a while he thinks he's going crazy and so does everyone else.

Noctis has to be at least 18 no underage stuff and no established relationships please.
