This is gonna be a long one, I think.

Back when they lived in Insomnia, Prompto wasn't in the best economical situation. His parents barely gave him any money for him to survive on his own while they were away on their long business trips, so he had to resort to more drastic jobs when his part time jobs weren't giving him enough money to survive either.

Because he had a good body after his runs, he tried his luck as an escort or pole dancer (or both) and succeeded, earning quick cash. He left the job some time later after becoming Noctis' friend to not tarnish the prince's reputation, making sure to save a lot of money to make it (maybe he took a normal part time job again). He's glad he gave that life up because he wasn't sure how his new friends would react.

When the adventure starts and they go to Lestallum, money begins to turn into a problem again. The world is a dangerous place and they use a lot of their funds on curatives and food, and the prices are extremely high so they have to rish their lives on dangerous hunts in order to earn gil. Worried for the group, Prompto resorts to using his skills from his previous job (or jobs) as escort/dancer. The bros find out after growing suspicious when Prompto starts showing up with a lot of gil, and when they find out where it's all coming from, they aren't happy about it *coughs*jealousy*coughs*

The gods bless Noctis with a second chance at life in the world he saved. When the Bro's find baby Noctis lying in on the throne in a pile of his own clothes. Prompto volunteers to be the one to raise him because he knows that Gladiolus is going to be getting married soon so he can start a family of his own and while Ignis is fully capable as a blind man he did just recently get his life together. Prompto knows he's never had his life together and he loves Noctis with all his hart.

We know that, while growing up in Insomnia, Prompto knew that he was from Niflheim. Let's twist things up a bit so everyone knows that he's from outside the wall cue people treating him like shit like we see the guards do in Kingsglaive.

So, when he befriend Noctis and he start training to be a member of the Crownsguard, he and Nyx (and the nice glaives in general i guess) start bonding.

Could be ship or not. He could simply be friend with him and be in a relationship with someone else.

Not like the usual kind, but Ardyn likes to refer to himself in family terms to rub in the fact that he's related to Noctis whenever he rapes him. Preferably post-timeskip since that's when Noctis knows it the most but if authors want to use younger Noctis and have him reveal himself earlier that's fine too.

What it says on the tin. Plus alpha Gladio trying to be honorable and not take advantage of his friend, but it's so hard because Prompto smells so good.

They are shocked/horrified at how much pain the ring causes noct and gladio feels guilty for giving him a hard time about the ring. Also maybe the boys are even more scared of the fact that while they knew the ring/crystal power would eventually kill noct, seeing/hearing noct in so much pain really drives that fact home.

Make it as angsty as you want, I just want hurt/comfort, maybe noct and gladio having a proper make up talk after all the arguing.
