Nature of Magic and Warping

I was wondering how everyone thought magic worked. No right or wrong answers, just curious to see because so many people write it differently.

My headcannon for warping is that the armiger space doesn't like living things so when a person is forcefully shoved in there, it shoves them out (which can also explain why warp strikes hit harder). They have to put their magic in an item to act like a beacon so they exit in a proper location and some items are better at holding magic then others (I tend to go with anything metal can hold magic).

Also, I don't think Glaives have Armiger space (Nyx keeps his Kukris on his back) because they share Regis'. Any item they try to shove in there gets shoved back out. It's also why Glaives seem to have more negative side effects to warping, because the magic knows they super don't belong.
